The cover shows j like after detstroying the whole room like a crazy dog, biting the chairs and sofa, all upside down, dunno, don't u think? its still crap though |

Wow, it must be hard being Jay Kay... His fans are never satisfied. Ever. If they don't criticise the style of the songs, they complain about the singles chosen to promote the albums, the cd titles or even the artwork of the covers... Come on!
I don't find the 'Dynamite' cover charming or interesting, but so what? I don't buy my cds based on the covers. Eminem could release an album with the most fantastic cover ever, yet I'd never touch it, because I think the guy's annoying and a total idiot.
The sole criterium I use when I want to buy a cd is to see if the artist moves me, if the performer rocks my world. And Jamiroquai does just that. I get a chill in my stomach everytime I read that a new album is about to be released. The joy of waiting for the cd, dreaming of it, trying to get information on it and playing it for weeks after the purchase is priceless. I thank Jay Kay for that.
For the last few months, people have been avidly discussing the new album. The news that a sixth Jamiroquai cd was on its way left all of us happy and excited. Even if the album is terrible (which I HIGHLY doubt), the commotion 'Dynamite' has already caused among us is a clear indication that this is (still) a great band that deserves praise and respect, not constant bitching. Give the guy a break.
I've been a Jamiroquai fan since the beginning. I got totally hooked up when 'WYGL' was still climbing up the British charts and since then haven't regretted my devotion one single day. I don't honestly understand why some fans are always on the attack... Whenever I listen to any of J's 5 cds, I see their quality and easily understand why I've been a fan for so long. All 5 cds contain a handful of gems. Am I the only one to perceive that?
By the way, who really needs the Buffalo man on ANOTHER cover? I'm so tired of it... I'm sure Jay Kay's had his fair share too. Shall we all move on?
Regards,
Cesar

Some people do... for people that are new to jamiroquai the album cover will really mean something... an image is a perfect way to comunicate things... i can already hear the kids talking about the guy named jamiroquai. _________________ We're going to a funktion yeah yeah yeah |

Cesar is right anyway...
The album is really great. We don't need to complain about the cover, it's childish. Why do we have to say bad things about something that it's not so important? What about the songs? They are awesome! Best funk of Jamiroquai since Travelling Without Moving. I heard 6 tunes now, I think is very very promising. These tracks are the gifts that we all want to get. Isn't?
The thing is: the cover won't be changed because some people go to a forum and say blá, blá, blá, blá... What's wrong with you people?
"Heck! I don't like the cover"... It sounds so idiot. _________________ You've got to stand up, stay strong, now! |

Artwork IS important... they pay people for doing that... If I were a visual artist I wouldnt like people to take my work so lightly... plus... an image can tell more than you know...

of course I expect good music and that's waaaay more important but there's no need for insults

I think I'm not bothering anyone if I say I don't like the cover... can't I say what I think?? _________________ We're going to a funktion yeah yeah yeah |

The cover is kind of growing on me. Sure, it hasn't got the buffalo man on it, but its still cool. Even though I reckon it would look better in colour. _________________ Fascist.

No, wait a oment here
I think I can say whatever I want about jamiroquai, it's my opinion and must be respected as well as yours, I'm a lousy judge, so don't take my thoughts in account, I don't count really
I agree that we shouldn't focus on the bad things, well I must say I can't focus on the album cos I aven't heard it yet, so I can (yes I CAN) judge the cover, whether it's good or bad, even if it's bad, it doesn't mean I won't buy it, but still, I can open my mouth and speak out, jamiroquai (and most things) are judgeable, well, the music so far has been great, I agree, I hated AFo and still went out and bought it, also i bought whatever release they got at HMV when I was in Europe and I don't regret it,
I personally LOVE the buffalo man, but that's my point of view, maybe JK wants to exploit that everybody thinks Jamiroquai = JK, so he puts his face and hats on the cover to sell more, if that is a trick to put good music inside and have sony pleased with sales, then I'm happy the cover thing is alright, but still, i think they could've put more brain into it, a little more perhaps, I'm not a pro designer and I think sometimes my designs look a bit better, still I'm no sony designer, Jk or any industry-related dude, dunno what's going on, I'm just a mexican-based fan, with absolutely no contact with the band or any of their environment, therefore, my opinion, as said before, doesn't really count
Take care, I love how we all have the JMQ vibe going on..I love it!
