4-stringed Paul Turner?

from that, i can count all 4 strings on that bass guitar. as a bass guitarist myself, i would've thought it would make alot more sense to play JMQ songs using a 5-stringer.

i mean, nick fyffe used 5 strings, and so did Stu Zender, so why doesnt Little Paul do the same?

stuart zender used a four strings bass... you can see that in all the concerts he played with jamiroquai in the first two tours, in the space cowboy video and in the booklet of the album TROTSC you can see it....

he used the five strings bass in the TWM tour...

and Los Amigos Invisibles bassist (Jose Rafael Torres) uses the same bass guitar as Paul Turner.... but in a different color... see:

those bass sounds powerful!!! hehehe they makes you a headache when you're in a concert in the first row... hehehe and Jose loves to play aloud...

It's a four string bass so it's not Stingray 5. Just Stingray. Wink

And the music man bass that paul turner uses was used since long long time, and it´s still being used, by FLEA of RHCP Wink

you're welcome FunkEducation Wink
But I also know that the iroquai and chrome basses were not sold by Stu but more stolen....can't explain exactly how it happened because of my limited vocabulary so.... Embarassed
But we know who own those two basses now and they bought them legaly! The guy who bought the iroquai bass payed for it around 550 pounds !!really cheap, because a hard rock cafe proposed him for it 10 000 pounds!! seriously!!
and the man of the chrome one bought it in a music shop in new york and guess the best?he found in the bag of the bass a MD wich contain some jamiroquai jams!!exclusif things!!but nobody else heard it...

And sorry but i don't have pics of mine but be sure...she's really beautifull...!! Very Happy
