thats really interesting....
do you mean a bit of original "harvest for the world" is sampled?
or do you mean at the start it sounds similar to "harvest for the world"?
if the version you have (from http://www.cdon.com/main.phtml?navroot=903 ) is the one played on capitol fm,
then no there's not anything similar..
what the version you guys downloaded is not the one played on capitol fm?????????????????????????? |

For those who bought and downloaded the whole album already, can you post another 30 second sample of Give Hate A Chance? Just a little bit of the verse, then the chorus, I just want to hear how the transition is like with either Give Hate A Chance, or Dynamite, or possible both |

Now you all can hear why GHAC does remind me of 'Starlight' from the Superman Lovers. |

damn!! what hard times for me!!!
i guess i am the only one who decided not to listen to the samples
because i want to enjoy the moment i hear full tracks for the first time from real cd |
I'm with you! I've only listened to FJLIS, SDISJ and EM, but that's enough for me 'til the album comes out. I think I'll have to wait until July, because I live in a quite "isolated" town, but I'm sure Dynamite's well worth my patience . _________________

yes it is......
something like "just recorded" versions...
SDISJ in album i shorter than dynamite sampler..3:59 in album and 4:47 in sampler.
FJLIS in album had little diference in the intro....an the middle part is other version we've heard..... |

My Opinion
Now, I´ve heard so many reviews on Jamiroquai´s future release
"Dynamite", I just HAVE to post my own one.
Feels Just Like It should: 3 stars
i like it, but I really don´t know why, cos Jay´s voice(I was shoked when I first heard him) really sounds awful in this tune. I don´t know in which
category to put this song, it still has something.
Dynamite: 4 Stars
From what I´ve heard it´s cool. It has this saturday-night-driving-in-a-fast-car-to-a-hot-club-vibe. It´s really eighties´style
Seven Days In Sunny June: 5 Stars
f****** nice melody.
Electric Mistress: 4 Stars
Now this is real electronic stuff. I like the futurama bells, the piano thing,
even the cheap beat(so eighties!)
Star Child: 5 Stars
What A great Bass. Jay´s voice sound´s good. Strings sound cool, very retro. High Quality Song
Love Blind: ?
Can´t judge it.
Talulah: 4 Stars
Good one, slow but it works.
Give Hate a Chance: 5 Stars
Miami athmosphere, guitars sound nice
World He Wants: 4 Stars
I like it
Black Devil Car: 3 Stars
Sorry, I know it´s quite good, this rock-thing even suits Jay, but it´s just to chaotic.
Hot Tequila Brown: 3 Stars
It´s okay. But it sounds like a stupid radio song.
Time Won´t Wait: 5 Stars
This one´s brilliant! I hope they put in on the european album version, cos
amazon.de even displayed it on the list.
At least my general thoughts:
Voice still sounds like jay(for god´s sake) but isn´t good anymore.
The Lyrics are stupid most of the time(sorry!). It seems like he drank away his intelligence. But it´s a nice album.
That´s the quality-top 6(to me)
6: A funk odyssey
5: travelling without moving
4: the return of the space cowboy
3: dynamite
2: synkronized
1: eope
I don´t like a funk odyssey that much, it´s just pop music |

I've just been hiding and reading (and rereading) the dialogue on here.
I love the samples but my question is this:
What's up with 'Beatbox'?
I think that's the name of that tune...why was it not included? What's the 'mystery' behind this track....so much so that the Argentina folks who heard it refuse to talk about it... |

i didn't hear it but i think it's another remake from Jay's beatboxing in the AFO uk test pressing interlude 2 _________________

yea its the CDON one! maybe it just sounds really similar, if you listen to the very start few seconds its really like harvest for the world, in my opinion.
i havent heard any full trakcs yet, just those clips but gotta say electric mistress is really standing out for me and the bass on this album seems superior to the last (sorry nick :S) but sounds like its gonna be a return to form, i am very excited! (peeing my pants excited)
