it would appear you are right... i have heard news that lucas plans to create three more episodes with brand new characters 80 years before episode 1, when the jedi overthrow the sith's reign of terror and set up the republic.... lets hope GL has learned a thing or two about acting and dialogue by then |

Not Lord of the Rings!!! This case is way different... don't argue with me Edgar you won't like me when I'm angry!!
Now.. back to topic... I think the idea of making 9 episodes was there in the 80s... I see no problem if we had 3 more star wars films... as long as they are of some quality that'd be alright (not something like ep1 and ep2)

There will be the "next Lord of the rings",it will be a film called "Hobbit" and there will be characters form the lotr,like Gandalf,Bilbo...

It's not confirmed yet.. but "the hobbit" was the first book published that is about Middle Earth (in the 30s!!!) and was already a best seller long before the lord of the rings movies were made and Peter Jackson was born... it's not like they have come up with a new twist to the storyto make more money... in fact, the hobbit was meant to be made first but they made lotr beacuse it was more epic.

all the thing about tolkien's books you say its true, but i also think that the whole story of star wars is already written long time ago (the next trilogy) and if they do on film i also hope to be at least like the episode 3, wich wasn't bad at all (the ending minutes helps a lot) ep2 and 1 were total crap...oh and comparing to the books of lord of the rings the films are also a shit

SPOILER WARNING
Well I loved the movie, a lot, first it finally connects the first movies and nicely done, second, when i was young I had a book about star wars and stuff, it was very complete, with designs and explanations fom a jedi lightsaber to rancor and otehr foes, very nice, and i had EMPEROR PALPATINE, and when i sae the first movie and Palpatine as chancellor I was..damn maybe it's another one, but now it's all clear..I loved it, especially how Samuel L Jackson is killed, LOVED IT.
It's better than th first 2 episodes, not as good as the 5th and 6th |

wow amazing film !!!
i even cried a little bit,, 
but hey... hayden christensen was absolutly wonderful 
he really gives this inner struggle a very "handsome" face.... when he started to look angry.... 
soo i reeaaallllyyyy liked it....!!!!! and i would be really unhappy if lucas makes it true not recording anymore star wars chapter
