Corner of the Earth remixes?
Can anybody tell me what the Milk & Sugar remixes of Corner of the Earth are like? And the Radio Edits? Are they just dance mixes, or are there perhaps any remixes that are similar to the very groovy live version from Verona DVD?

Hope you can help.
I need to know what to expect before I order the CD's 8)

Regards,
Martin

The milk and sugar remix used to be available at: http://www.groovyfunkyjazzy.mp3.ms , but recently the site has had only a "Best of 2002 CD" for download. Perhaps soon the site will return to the way it used to be, carrying many different Acid Jazz recordings.

I recently purchased the Corner of the Earth single (it was an import for me) and it had the radio edit, Bad Girls live with Anastacia, Love Foolosophy (Mondo Grosso remix), and Titan Live. The last track I think is actually quite poor (I think Jay's voice is recorded, and he only says one thing over and over; the music is from EVERYBODY'S GOING TO THE MOON, but the words are absent). I'm not sure what the single is like where you live. I've also seen a Corner of the Earth single with the Main Vein remixes (I've downloaded one of these, and I believe it is well done.....Knee Deep, I think).

The radio edit is quite good......the cuts are almost seemless. Some of Jay's "la la las" have been cut, and some of the trumpet solo. Also, the orchestration at the end is gone, and the song fades out while Jay is singing. I almost prefer the edit because I thought the orchestrations were a little melodramatic, but that's just me. You may like the album version better.

The Milk and Sugar remix, the Main Vein remixes, and the Mondo Grondo remix are all available somewhere online, if you feel like searching for them. The single is nice, but I wouldn't pay too much for it.

Speaking of remixes, is there anywhere to download an mp3 version of the Knee Deep remix of FEEL SO GOOD? I downloaded the Real Audio version at Funkin I think, but I really think it's one of the better remixes and I'd like to have it to put on a CD. I can't find it on any single. Where did that recording come from?

Cheers mates.

The remixes are currently not at http://www.groovyfunkyjazzy.mp3.ms ....

There is some Acid Jazz songs available there (none are Jamiroquai), but I suspect soon the old material will be there. My favorite download from that site was the extended version of WHEN YOU GONNA LEARN?

Good luck.
