GIVE HATE A CHANCE-COOLEST DISCO ANTHEM WITH CANNEDHEAT VIBE
Hi guys,
we're having best time in our lives!!!!!!!!!!
I love this song!!!!
it is playing in my head on loop even when i sleep...
LETS OPEN FAN CLUB OF THIS SONG!!!!
bass line in it is so close to one of my favourite songs Canned Heat...
Of course they are 100% different and DGHAC is new type of jamiroquai songs, but if DGHAC is similar to something previously released its canned heat!!!
actually i have never heard disco songs EVEN 1%c lose to DGHAC or Canned Heat..this direction of disco funk is entirely invented by JAMIROQUAI.
i missed this CANNED HEAT vibe!!!!! i thought its impossible to make up
something close to it, Canned Heat is too perfect genious unique and special... and now it happened we have DONT GIVE HATE A CHANCE!!!!!
i waited for this type of song since i bought synkronized in 99!!!!
DONT GIVE HATE A CHANCE is more serious in its mood
and text message!!!! it has so many shocking places, its a perfect disco funk song... i get high!!!!!!!!!!
its a great present for us to give us another song in Canned Heat vibe style. i want to thank Jay for such perfect album!!!!!!
As i said before i dream about being Rob's tour guitar technician or worker who set up stage on dynamite tour to have an opportunity to watch every show on dynamite tour!!! i cant calm down i wont see Jamiroquai playing live this summer!!!!
EVERYBODY TO THE DANCE FLOOR!!!!
OH YES YOU WILL NEED ADIDAS SHOES!!!!

Hehe! You saw I was browsing the forum, and to be honest I was hesitating what to post. In fact thinking what to post. But yes, I love this track so much, it's my favourite on the album (and Dynamite, and Starchild and Time Won't Wait, and ...). I love the basslines although I have to say the bassplayer on Starchild did a great job too (maybe it's the same player). Very fast basslines on Starchild, but the bass on DGHAC has so much power! Listen to the difference in groove between the chorus and the verses. In the chorus the bass is even more powerful!
Also is interesting is the guitar in the verses. On some lines Rob starts to play, on some lines there's no guitar.
And I still love the break (the best part on the complete Dynamite LP)!

High Times, I agree with you! DGHAC is a brilliant track.
I showed the album to a friend who isn't a Jamiroquai fan (though he's becoming addicted fast thanks to me) and that's the song that stood out for him. He wrote me an e-mail calling it "excellent".He liked the whole album, except for the last 3 songs, which he found just ok. Like you, I'd adore it if it were released as a single. Curiously though, I've never been fond of the other song you mentioned: Canned Heat. |

Hello,
GHAC is certainly a great dance track, who thought breaking up through misunderstandings in relationships would be so fun to listen too . I originally thought the classic strings wouldn't work on this song, but they provide a nice background cushion for the melody. Also, much like Mouse commented about, I am also most impressed by your enthusiam about Dynamite's songs High Times, keep those nice posts coming ! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

this one, without a doubt, is my favourite track from Dynamite. Let's hope this will be taken as 3rd single, I really dig it! _________________

Well, being one of the poor souls ready for sin, but not able to get the album before official release...I can not participate in all that pre-discussions about the album...
But this track is one of the few I have in full and it is really really really a wonderful track. I just love it
Makes me wanna move immedeately and gives me a realy great good mood
Reading all the wonderful comments all over the topics of my friend High Times, I definitely think the album is a "drug", and High Times swallowing it alle the times...hehehe....is really on high times.
So I am looking forward to get that drug (album) too and hear all this wonderful songs in full length _________________

Isn't the song about war? That's the oppression i got from the lyrics... eg "you know you gotta rise up", "until no more ppl have to cry" "trigger-happy fantasies" etc. |
