I will probably meet the man himself in London in July (B-Live festival)... so if you want, I can bring some autographs of him for you all!
I dunno if I ever said it officially that I appreaciate all your work, David, but you know that I do!

Hello,
Hope all my fellow fans had a nice weekend , mine was kind of sour, got hit a idiot in a car, but I'm ok, other than that, still very hectic as usual. I do think a "David Rowe Fan Club" would be great, everyone who joins the club could get a nice T-Shirt with a big grinning picture of David Rowe picture on it . I have always maintained and thought that without a fan of likes of David, that the fanbase would've have been in constant disarray with what the heck would be going on with Jamiroquai, it would be like the early 90s all over again. So, I raise a frothy mug of root beer to David Rowe, the man, the mystery and International Buffaloman! Thanks for listening and much props to the Rowe's, hope the Greece sun isn't giving a sunburn. Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

I met David and his lovely wife Sharon on their holiday in Las Vegas last year... or was it two years ago? Anyway, I had the pleasure of spending a full day with them. We took a dam tour! They are truly two of the best people I've met. |

Just wanted to add to the thank-you's to David - without him I would have had to rely on J's Joint for information back in the olden days....

I think it's kind of automatic that we are already a fan club with the sophisticated membership of jamirotalk and the ensemble of what the official site was and is now.
But any way, any and all of us who are Jamiroquains are David Rowe fans too, it goes hand in hand doesn't it ??? It's really humbling to discover just how dedicated he is, and that is not without recognition of many others whom I have had the honour to be acquainted with, like Meike, Jamirokaki, McFly, Dyego, JF2K, CG CH, FRA, MSP1; and the list goes on and on (pardon me if I have omitted your name in the short list of the heirachy).
BTW, nice thread prompt McFly !!! I too would like to wish David and Sharon a happy holiday in Greece, I hope they returned and refreshed and rejuvenated to refunk with us all during the tour season. (God save the funkin. guest book !!! . . . I went weak in the knees when I saw it was temporarily 'off' again, but since I realize that it is pleasing circumstances that are pending . . . phew !!!)
I mentioned to David that I hoped to introduce myself to him at B-Live, and it looks like I will have the honour of meeting Meike too !!! YIPPEE !!!
And likewise I am eagerly anticipating meeting all the others who post and read here. I can't wait to meet my Jamily in person after having enjoyed such rich and sincere friendship and funkship here in the realms of Meike's kingdom and the official site, the JPP, and Jamline.
:-)))) h
PS.
I maintain a signature of four bracket symbols as smiles because each one represents each of my four children.
BUT, I am contemplating adding another in celebration of Dynamite (following in Dyego's buffalo hoof-prints) and adding another to consitute and represent the five mile smile that Jamiroquai has given me (always).
And adding to the list of Maye, Abd Al-Azeez, Hussa and El-Anoud please welcome (the painless birth of) of my fifth ('Starchild') . . . yours,
:-))))) h |
