i don't like(i want to say hate but i think that's a kinda harsh to use it here ) every Jamiroquai songs that FunkEducation don't like since i found we shared alot of similarities when it comes to acidjazz music...so no need for me to elaborate long about it...
anyway i think i'd to thank FunkEducation for introducing me to Los Amigos Invisibles...if not because of that stupid and annoying Los Amigos Invisibles banner, I probably wouldnt even get the chance of listening to their stuff...dude Los Amigos Invisibles rocks!!! |
stupid and annoying banner???????????
my banner is beautiful....
heheheheh you're going to have problems with me man!!!
yes man... you know i'm the most deeper fan of the acid jazz and funk movements... that's why some times i say those things about those "commercial" songs like feels just like it should...
and it's a pleasure for me that now you're listening Los Amigos Invisibles...
cos as i talk to all of you about that band, i talk to all the people here about Jamiroquai...
if you wanna make contact with me and chat you can add me to your msn: edgar_centeno@msn.com... we can share funky music of bands like earth, wind and fire, incognito, papanegro, los amigos invisibles, jamiroquai... hehehe WE LOVE ACID JAZZ... ehehe
bye guys! and thanks muzzander... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Songs I don't listen to:
Destitute Illusion
Morning Glory
Didjerama
Stop Don't Panic
World That He Wants
I think the songs: "Wathever It Is, I Just Can't Stop" & "Were do we go from here" should be played live, or have an edit, a remix, or something, because they are great tunes
Goodbye

Like you said, Dyego, i like all JMQ musics. Although, there are some musics like Destitule Illusions, Didjerama, Didgin' Out and Morning Glory that I don't listen very much. And about Light Years, I only like the chorus... _________________ jamiroquai music is like the air...you need it to live

I need to "break a spear" (literal translation of an Italian way to say "defend something") about Whatever it is, I just can't stop it. I really appreciate this song... nice drums, nice bass, definitively got the groove!
About the song I dislike... about half the songs from Dynamite, this isn't my style... used to skip the 2 didgeridoo songs from TWM too. From AFO... long time since my last conscious listening of that album, so I better listen to it again and see what I skip _________________ there's a stillness in time, which I cannot define, does your heart bleed like mine?

- EOPE: Just perfect
- TROTSC: Even more perfect (OK, you can't top perfection, but anyway, I think you guys understand me! )
- TVM: Although I like reggae, I don't really like "Drifting along"
- Synkronized: Usually when I listen to Synkronized, I skip "Planet home"
- AFO: It's more disco, but I can't say I really dislike a song on it.
- Dynamite: Definitely "Love Blind" _________________

Unfortunately my list is long...
- Deeper Underground
- Corner of the Earth
- Black Crow
- Feels just like it should
- Seven days in sunny june
- Love blind
- Black devil car
I don't approve also the changing of Jay... He seems to have left all his good thoughts about environment, animals and love for them, FOR ME that's simply sad.
Maybe, if I were him, making all that money with music... with all the chances a musician got touring around the world/all the people known around the world, I would try to make something REALLY useful for what I believe, not only collect fast cars, sniffing all sorts of drugs and punching paparazzi!!! Sometimes I feel very angry with Jay even if what he did/do is part of me and I'll thank Jamiroquai for the rest of my life for what they gave me _________________

ok, I will try not skip them next time I'll listen to TWM (even if I don't know when I'll listen to the whole album)
anyway, Seven Days In Sunny June isn't so bad... good harmonic choices, imho! _________________ there's a stillness in time, which I cannot define, does your heart bleed like mine?

Same, I was really disappointed when it came out, but I can listen to FJLIS, Starchild, TWW without wincing now
My least favorite material has to be Black Devil Car, World He Wants, Don't Give Hate a Chance, Hot Tequila Brown, and Talulah. Too much cheese, and I'm lactose intolerant. Stop Don't Panic ain't too hot either..would've much rather had the song A Funk Odyssey instead of that. Don't like the album version of Planet Home, but the live version is amazing. Not a huge fan of Drifting Along either. |
