Hello Jamirotalkers,
From what I saw recently, my favorites are:
'Sideways', with Paul Giamatti; directed by Alexander Payne.
A great great movie, is so funny and I gotta say I ended up crying.
'War Of The Worlds', with Tom Cruise; directed by Steven Spielberg.
The first hour is fantastic, truly horrifying. The second half is not that good, but still entertaining enough.
'Closer', with Julia Roberts, Clive Owen, Jude Law, Natalie Portman; directed by Mike Nicholls.
Love story for adults, it can be seen through different looks, and the dialogues are perfectly made.
Other ones that saw, that I like, but still not in the 'favorite' category: 'Fantastic Four', 'Massacre in Precint 13', 'No Sos Vos, Soy Yo'.

I'm a huge fan of horrors, thrillers and just plain bizarre ones.
Here's my list of top movies.
-Old Boy
-Battle Royale 1 (the second one stank worse than anything I've ever seen)
-When the last Sword is Drawn
-Ring 1, 2 and 0 (the original versions, not the rubbish Hollywood pants)
-Dark Water (again, the original)
-American Psycho
-Tank Girl
-Rocky Horror Picture Show
-Kill Bill vol 1 and 2
-Shogun Assasin
-Star Wars (original trilogy, the more recent ones were ok)
-Sin City
-A Clockwork Orange
-Man Bites Dog (Weird, but cool at some bits)
-Drop Dead Fred (fav childhood film)
I can't think of anymore, arg!
Went to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show Live in Edinburgh, that was awesome. Driving back the car broke down, you should have seen the look on the AA guys face when he saw us all dressed up...
