never should they do this. their albums are great, not just the songs.
EDIT: changed spelling.

You know how a Best of album would look like:
Loads of old songs we've already got on albums and 2 or 3 new tracks. So we'll have to buy the Best of album anyway.
I'm not supporting such a thing, JK is rich enough. If he needs money, he should release a new album, which contains only new songs, or sell one of his expensive cars. |

yeh i agree...
i'd like a "best of" album, only to have the good songs in one cd, and don't have to change of cd and skip tracks to listen the best songs...
but i will burn a cd and it's all over...
jay kay has so much money, i agree with a Best of, when the band get into its end... and a "unreleased tracks" album will be nice too....
i want to listen unreleased material from the first four albums... more of Synkronized to seems to have so jazzy and funky unreleased tracks... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

I certainly hope they don't. Most bands, after releasing a greatest hits album, seem to in a sense give up. The music afterwards is usually dreadful. _________________ Fascist.

hmm this ihas been raised many times b4..... i dont care if the ydo or they dont... if they do it just means they want more money! if they dont then they realise that they r a strong enuf band without that cd!
a best of cd is just a cheesy way of making more money! or i think it might mark an anniversary of the band.....which give a feww more years then i think they should! perhaps when they r 15yrs old! |

they should do what U2 did: they did a special 2-disc version of their "Best of 1980-1990", with the 2nd disc full of b-sides and unreleased music.
then again, U2 is huge compared to Jamiroquai. but a b-side album would be great from JMQ. |

I agree with that.

I don't need an official "Best of" album. With i-tunes I can "build" my own "Best of" CDs. I guess there are other similar programms available as well. |

Yeah, good point.
They could even release a Greatest Hits playlist on iTunes, that people could buy if they wanted to, but it wouldn't be a CD release. That way (almost) everyone is happy! _________________
