Diego, Sorry to hear that you feel that way. I must say that's a bit of my fault too
I posted a few weeks ago, to explane you guys that my DJ career is getting really good now and that there just isn't much time to post here.
So I'm sorry for that, but that doesn't mean that I don't think about you guys anymore or my heart doesn't belong to Jamiroquai anymore.
And about the Jamiroquai Forum on jamiroquai.com, I think it's not as fun as this site. 'cos here you can add a personall touch to your message. Like you picture below your name and a underliner. And the cd-pictures you can pick on jamiroquai.com are fun put has nothing personal to me.
Well I'll do my best to come and look at this site more often...

Hi all,
This post is what we needed I think. As you can see it's getting better and better on the forum. Every time I log in on the site (twice a day or more), there are so many posts since my last visit. Besides the quality of the posts is improving.
I was just reading some posts from the hard period this summer, when some users were disrespectful to each other and many posts had to be removed. Now I must say it's more quiet here, but more enjoyable too!
Many compliments to Mouse and of course all the other users who are the Jamily now! I think this forum is the best Jamiroquai forum.
The official forum is too big and not personal, the JamiroX forum is too small, the french forum is going offtopic most of the time, so for me Jamirotalk is the best...
Thanks again to all fellow fans who are making this possible and thanks to Mouse for solving all the big problems which have taken so much of your time!

Well, I've left the site on purpose...not because of JamiroX or anything...just because my interest level in jamiroquai has gone down...although they're here in brazil in march, and i'll definitely go see, i havn't enjoyed dynamite, havn't bought it and rarely listen to jamiroquai...maybe because of my drumming (strong focus in jazz) my musical taste has drifted away, and I no longer see the point in discussing Jamiroquai since I am no longer interested...I have made no good friends in this forum, and those who are closer have my MSN or Yahoo messenger...
I am not leaving because I think Jtalk is a bad site..in fact, i really like it, and I learned a lot here...but it is time for me to say goodbye, as I no longer have anything interesting to say, and no contribution of proper importance...
This is my leave
I wish you all the best of luck, and thank you for allowing me to learn so much about this fantastic band...
Farewell,

that's too bad, ah? i haven't enjoyed at all Dynamite, and i don't like the way the band play live, but i'm still here supporting them, and supporting the fanbase... i am not that interested in the new album and sounds, but here i am giving my point of view about the things...

we all have interesting things to say, and you have so much interesting things cos you're an old skool fan... in this forum you can find lots of people who shares the same opinions...
what i want to say is that you can't leave the forum just cos you don't like the new jamiroquai... there are two jamiroquais we can talk and discuss... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Getting really quiet here. Seems like the last rats are leaving the sinking ship. (This is not supposed to be an insult or something, just what I'm thinking.) |

Don't forget: it's not quantity that counts, it is quality!
At the moment there isn't that much to talk about, I guess. There will be more, when they start to play gigs again, you will see!
By the way, for those who are interested to know about statistics:
There have always been ups and downs at jamirotalk.net. but all in all the tendency is still rising!
The december was the highest month with 15 GB traffic so far. January had been a bit less with 12 GB, but it is still more than all the months before december. Don't have the final counts of February obviously.
That's a lot, when you consider that there aren't much pictures uploaded (only the pics you guys are linking to, but that doesn't count as traffic) and I don't provide downloads. So 15 GB mainly from reading texts is quite a lot!!
I observed that people are more reading than writing in the last few days, but I can understand it. Same with me. Sometimes you just don't feel to say anything.

Hi!
Yesterday I was thinking of this post of you, Diego. I think we can say that Jamirotalk is back on the normal level again. Many new members with (new) positive energy, many people posting, many posts of high quality, etc.
The South-American tour, spring in Europe and the rumours about the upcoming Greatest Hits helped us out of this period of relative stillness!
Jeroen. |
