I had a hell of a time getting my ticket for the Boston show...
I woke up and went to the Roxy, where the show's gonna be. Their box office was closed though, so I had to walk home to my dorm and look up where the Ticketmaster outlets were in the city. I found one close to me, but their concert computers were down--they could only sell tickets to plays. So, again, I had to go back to my dorm, and this time, I got some quarters and took the subway downtown to a local department store. On the sixth floor of the store, I finally got my ticket.
When I came out of the store, I got to see a live band playing some salsa/Brazilian mix; it was fantastic and quite groovy with flute and keyboard solos. Everyone there was either dancing or bobbing their heads or smiling.
And that's my tale. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Otherwise, I have to be honest, I can see a situation where...there is a possibility that you become lost in the annals of acid jazz history." -- Jason Kay |

I'm so excited... I've been waiting five years for this moment. |

2nd concert in L.A. ?
Bad and good news...
The concert in Los Angeles has pretty much sold out already, the only seats left are those waaaaaaaay in the back.....
The Wiltern Theater however is unofficially telling fans that Jamiroquai may book a second appearance, same place, different day but perhaps in that same week.
I really hope for this....I need to see them |

If it's on the weekend I might have to further put myself under the poverty line to attend lol... _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

DANG!!!!
Jay and the crew are showing up too early from what I was planning.
I was predicting for them to arrive about springtime next year here for a US tour. That way I could take my vacation when it happened. But since I already took my vacation (in Milwaukee of all places, not very far from Chicago), I ca't go to the Chicago show on Oct. 30. Would have been cool to because my uncle in Milwaukee may have paid for my brother and I's tickets. Bet they won't be cheap either in Chicago. _________________ IT'S A PLANETARY....GOOD VIBE ZONE.....

Scruff,
I wish I could say that the Chi-town show was sold out to show that Jamiroquai has at least a shred of popularity in that town, but tickets are still available for the Chicago show. After all the Ticketmaster b.s. fees and taxes, the tix are just about $50 I think.
You say you have to work that night so you can't make the show, but I have to work that night too. That's what callin in sick is for lol. Peace! _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |
