'Dual Disc' Release in the UK
Hello Jamirotalkers,
Just read at funkin and .com about the release of the Dual Disc 'Dynamite' in the UK. Featuring the same things (and perhaps the video of (D)GHAC).
This might be the chance of 'Dynamite' to come back at the top of the charts ... I feel bad about it! Damn! Is a good record!

On 28 November 2005 Jamiroquai will release a DualDisc edition of Dynamite. DualDisc is a format where one side of the disc is the regular CD audio, and the other side contains DVD content such as videos. |
They could add some B-sides too... bastards

It's the return of the American Golden Space Cowboy?!?
Hello,
Thanks yet again for beating me to the "news punch" Brother D ...hehe ! Yeah, it's nice they are releasing the DD in the UK, I mean, aren't we just absolutely "spoiled" US Fans having gotten this release before Europe?!? Still, pretty luxurious release if they are able to smack the DGHAC video onto the DD, still, I highly doubt any B-Sides will make it on there Brother D. I mean, it's more fashionable release wise for them to throw a bucket load of B-Sides or remixes onto Aussie and Japanese Jamiroquai releases, still, it's a good thought. Thanks again for the prompt news importing Brother D, you continue to impress me ! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

.. i have to say.. i´m a bit angry about that!!!
of course i´ve got "the old" dynamite "...
and now... shall i buy the new one??
naturally i want to have it.. ´cause on my old one there isn´t "time won´t wait" (which is a great tune).. and of course the dvd ´s specials... i would like to have them tooooo...
but there isn´t anymore money left... album.. concert...merchandise...
and nowwwwww?????
(i even can´t put it on a christmas wishlist... ´cause we (the adults) don´t give us any presents for christmas.....) ...
so what... i am forced... to buy it again.... and i hope the next time they will sell this special album right from the beginning...when the new album is on market!!
(btw... it has been a sony decision thing.. ???)
and don´t get me wrong.. it´s a great idea to put cd and dvd elements together ...but the wrong way.. to sell it half year later than the first album release... _________________

Hello again,
Yeah, I do really agree with you Mrs. Moon, how does Sony expect to squeeze more profit out of their loyal Jamiroquai customers when they are tapped out from the 2 UK Jami Tours ? I know they are "milking" Jamiroquai for all their worth right, like they have done with all their signed acts "Post-Tour", just look at Maroon 5 as a good example of "over-milking". But I guess they are releasing it for those rare fans whom didn't go on the tours OR still haven't picked up Dynamite in the first place, yeah, CD releases in the UK easily go Platinum after a 1-2 month, but these extras and DD release should have been released initally back in June 2005 in Japan, and same with the other worldwide releases. Oh well, that's what you get when you put the world's music under the grasp of greedy corporations with no sense of reality and a insatiable thirst for profit . Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

I got the double disk via ebay from UK the last days. Had no time to check the different sound already, sorry
Only saw the making off interview which is on it. It is quite long and interesting. Showing already known parts of the video making like on the funkin clip and other interviews about it. But some more details and jokes are added, the stunts are shown better, like how they prepared the soles of his shoes for sliding behind the car, how he has to sign a paper, that he accepts death during the stunts would be not the fault of someone else..hehehe (he calls it his death paper) and the making of the mask for the candyman...
Annoying is the over and over reminder of sony that ripping of the video will take you 5 years to prison and ruin your bank account forever _________________
