i really want jamiroquai to release the fuc***g greatest hits album, and then get over the deal with Sony, then, Jay Kay must think what to do... if recover and make our loved sound, or be still making the same thing... there's your chance to do the best choice Jay Kay...

oh well. but anyway is Jay´s fault. Nobody put a gun in his head when he signed the deal with sony, isn´t it? Question Sony just did the best for themselves.

Think the main reason of angry in lost funky force in him music and Jay understand it.Before 1997 Jamiroquai was make great & unique music&was sence of friendship all JMQmusisians!Ever bandmember know all about each other/Jamiroquai was a music family....but it family is cracked.... Rolling Eyes but i don't want believe in end of JMQ/becoz if they out of Sony The band can do anithing new for JMQ music!

the end with a record company dont mean the end with music .prince today has nothin to f**k with warner but is still making funky stuff i think it's time to jk to do his emancipation! that way he will be more free when making an album.....and sincerly jk is rich enough to crate his and druv his own label!
it's strange but many are artist who got high on major and want live them! prince was the fiste but probably not the last!

Edgar,
You want him to do the greatest hits album. It fulfills the contract with Sony if he does. That's why he's sayin this stuff now, because he knows he can without gettin in trouble. It meets the terms of the contract. As long as Sony gets the album and $$$ it's all good for both sides. That's why JK is talkin smack now. You know it's been pent up for years.

I don't want JMQ to release a greatest hits album... I want a new tracks one... Jay's fed up with Sony since too long ago, Sony wants money money and more money.. Jay's not an angel either but he wants to go on making music.. And for me that's all that matters. I think they should change of company.

Yes Spanish Cozmik Girl!!!
Let the band release a greatest hits to fulfill the contract so they can switch record companies. That's whole reason why JK is gonna do it. To get out of his record deal. It's almost like some of you guys don't realize that if he leaves a record company without meeting the terms of the record contract that nothing happens. NOT TRUE!!!! JK WOULD OWE SONY A LOT OF MONEY IF HE WERE TO JUST LEAVE NOW. If he releases a greatest hits album, it meets all the terms of the contract and then he can make a new album with a better record deal at a different record company. Lata y'all

Instead of a Best Of album they should release an album full of old unreleased rejected songs and perhaps some Grade A live material. That would be a really nice collectible for the fans.

not a bad idea... whatever fulfills the contract. Although maybe JK suggested that, and Sony said (thinking what would sell better of course) "Give us a greatest hits album, and you're done"
