Look Back
Hi!!
I'm relatively new in this forum, so I don't know if you've talked about this subject before. My question is: why do they use to play new tracks (3,4,5,6 albums) and they use to forget ancient successful songs like Too young to die, if I like it I just do it, blow your mind, stillness in time...or instrumental/sweet love songs like moring glory, everyday, falling..? They are also Jamiroquai's songs!!
Thanks |

I don't think that, they would sound different but nothing bad. Have you heard the last performances? Songs like too young to die, revolution 1993 and use the force sounds incredible. Besides, Jamiroquai played blow your mind and just another story on midnight sun tour, without the brass section. Jamiroquai would play 'em great, they can make many arrangements and re-create the old sound.
Cheers! _________________ I'm slidin' down the wall

OH! And about your question "Catalonia_is_not_spain", they select the tracklist to play on tour, and typically the playlist refer the popularity of jamiroquai songs. That's the reason explain why jamiroquai don't play morning glory, falling or everyday.

Hello,
Well, like all music, you have to change and do new things to keep your music fresh and fun, but for Jamiroquai, the change from basic instrumentation to technology shortcuts kind of tarnished the feelings of some old fans like me . But as always, old fans have to learn to adapt to the new sound, took me about 1-2 years to make the concession that Jamiroquai couldn't produce another EOPE-ROTSC caliber album, unless they are willing to bring back old bandmembers and mend from burned bridges. But JK is always looking toward the future, and with the amazing music achievements on AFO and Dynamite, the new sound is a good choice to keep Jamiroquai out there. At least we still have the old albums to fall back onto to remind us of Jamiroquai's potency of roots music. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

Dunno, but Last concert when he sang Corner and (i believe) black crow...ppl just started talking to eachother.
I just thought...annoying and shut up please.
But what would he have thought????
Think that the same would happen with the instrumentals. |

Unbelievable Well, evidently songs like deeper underground or Little L are more dynamic, dance melodies and funk rhythms...But I really like, and I think I'm not the only one, to listen songs like Morning Glory, Talulah...I can't accept people talking to each other, it's disrespect and they disourage the band to play this kind of songs usually... |
