Hi everyone, buffaloman

2005 has been a great year for music (thanks mainly to Dynamite of course!!!), but what albums/singles are you looking forward to next year???? Here's a few of mine.........

The Strokes - First Impressions Of Earth

"Juicebox" is weird but good....their other two albums are two of the best albums this decade

Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not

Got a UK #1 with "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor", a lot of hype around this album

Graham Coxon - Love Travels At Illegal Speeds

Ex-Blur man has made some decent solo tracks, should be another good indie album

Mmm.. I don't know, which albums are coming next year? If the new Prince one is coming, I'll buy that one.

I have no idea! the artists I was looking for records the most were all this year, and most of them sucked (Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim). But there were good ones too (Moby, Chem Bros, JMQ, EW&F). Which other albums are coming 2006?

Pharoah Monch - he's an MC. just saw him in concert with Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Jean Grae..I was impressed

The Roots - hip-hop band (as in they all play instruments) - from my hometown. they are so talented. The lead MC is named Black Thought and he is one of the best freestylers ever. I'd love them to collab with Jamiroquai one day.

Goapele (beautiful soul..sounds like Sade and she is absolutely gorgeous) comes out at the end of this year, or maybe the beginning of next year, not sure. You can listen to some stuff off her new album at http://www.giantstep.net/releases/901/ and find out more about her. Goapele's first album is amazing.:

Uh yes, I agree! I liked that album a lot, although I did find some flaws on it. Maybe their second album will sound as great as this one did.

Add this to my list.

Incognito's new album will be released on 1/24/06 and I can't wait. They are fantastic. Words can't even describe...I love them. They are the closest to Jamiroquai music that I have found..the horns, the dance grooves all based in jazz. I have just rediscovered them thanks to a friend and I get this feeling from them of relaxation.

Amazing..I love them! Check out their music FREE at the Giant Step jukebox.

www.giantstep.net

Go to the menu on the left and scroll to jukebox, and then launch it, and then find INCOGNITO and pick something to listen to...

Anyway, I'm looking forward to their release.
