I've always liked "Everyday"
It's romantic, it's sexy, it's real...
Yes i do
Baby, maybe, we can spend a little time together now that we're alone
So long i have been waiting
Now can't you let me take you home
All these things we do
Will make our dreams come true
You want me, and i surely want you
Tell me where you want to go
Tell me what i need to know
To take you on a little ride
Hold me, control me
Let me circumnavigate your body mind and soul
Like a, seed from a flower
I can grow and you must know
Sadness, don't mean a thing
Cos you and me girl,
You know we're in the swing,
All the things that i want to get with
You on a midsummer night
In the evening light
The sweet evening light
All these things we do
Will make our dreams come true
I want you, you want me
I surely need you baby
And so far what we've done
Has made our lives become
Something more than
Evening light to make it right
All, all i want from you baby,
Is sweet loving now,
No, i know, yes, i know
I know what i want from you girl
We can make it right
We can hold onto each other tight
Lose your inhibitions
Yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh
Every little thing we do is right
Every little thing you see is sweet
Every little part of you i'd like to meet
I want you girl, you know i want you
I want you in the evening light _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

lyrics...... all jam lyrics or most of them are great..... the futurist virtual insanaty...the heartfelt when you gonna learn.... all the romantic ones.... the personal ones mein vein, picture of my life.... The upbeat ones starchild, whatever it is I just cant stop, where do we go from here.... all of them can become a favorite one depending on how we are feeling...... My favorite, because to me it represents the spirit of jamiroquai, is FUNKTION

i like the ones with real meaning and care behind them about how the writer feels personally:
Too young to die
World that he wants
Picture of my life
Black crow
the list goes on... _________________

I have to say the song whose lyrics are stitched into the clothes that I wear . . . SOUL EDUCATION !!!
Where on earth did you all think I got my life information from ???
Thank you Jamiroquai for giving us this song, and the rest of the songs that are our pocket full of rainbows . . . and Jamily provides the world wide sky to put them into which is always so desireably blue.
And if anyone is still looking for a God whom they can pray to, then I can assure you it's not Sony !!! LOL !!!
HUH !!! I'm stepping out so cut me loose !!! :-)))))) _________________ Jamily to the bone !!!

The literature student agrees with JamiroFan. Although I'm not quite sure where he's got those lyrics from! I can only assume that's a live version, or that the version of JAS released in the US is a totally different song to that on (at least) the UK and Argie versions of the album.
Not only is JAS supremely underrated and the best album intro Jami have done, it's also deeply autobiographical without being wishy-washy and a bit cheesy a la 'Picture Of My Life'.

Yes indeed Sam. A crucial song in the milestones of Jamiroquai's serious side, a magnificent tribute, and as I said years ago on JTALK, although I loathe the use of four lettered words, the use of it in the album version of JAS is necessary and artistically acceptable.
I've been getting a life long supply of expletives delivered by 'Sir' JK in my recent experience of live recordings. Sadly the 'wallop' that the 'f' word had for me in JAS is now mellowing as a result. _________________ Jamily to the bone !!!
