New Pictures of JK at "Fashion Rocks" event!!!
Hello everyone, :bm_b:
Been VERY busy lately with work, work, work, and lots of annoying overly tiring work....did I mention work is tiring...Oh yes I did! Anyhoo, I just saw new pictures of JK from last night's "Fashion Rocks" event in London at the RexFeatures Site. Here's a link to them so you can gander at JK's new snake skin hat:
http://www.rexfeatures.com/cgi-bin/r2show0?k=Jay+Kayu
I really like, as mentioned above, JK's new hat, though I feel a little sorry for the poor snake, though I think the snake would think it's justified since his hide now resides as a hat for a Pop Star... ! Thanks for listening and I'll be adding a new picture from the new "Fashion Rocks" pictures as my new picture avator. Don't worry, I'm getting some color pictures of yours truly done soon. Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 |

I'll to make a question...What is Fashion Rocks? Another rock-stars clothes event? I think Jay must give more time for the new album

Fashion Rocks....
Hello, :bm_r:
Hope everyone had a nice weekend, mine was cool. I can answer your question, Snorry. "Fashion Rocks" is a event where the worldest biggest fashion houses display the latest season of new clothing lines whilest the worldest biggest musical artists provide the music for the models walking down the catwalk. MTV US did a similar event a few years ago for Spring Break called "MTV's Fashionably Loud" with swimwear with some musical artists like Busta Rhymes & Jay Z....if I can recall. I hope that answers your question, Snorry . In regards to JK not having spending enough time on the new album, he's having PLENTY of time, I mean, he's gone on two mini-vacations for the writing sessions for the 6th album (Italy & the Caribbean) with the band, I expect they are refining the songs as I type this post. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
(A Little amusing point-of-view from Edina & Patsy from the hilarious Britcom "Absolutely Fabulous"..for which I'm a big fan of!!!)
EDINA: "So, how do you like this "Fashion Rocks" thing so far sweetie?"
PATSY: "Absolutely Fabulous darling, though that bloke with that tripe
on his head in the band could do with a makeover, he looks like
a dwarf wearing a bush!"
EDINA: "Oh darling, I loved that hat or whatever it is, I call that style!"
PATSY: "Sweetie, I call THAT a bad interaction with shampoo!" |

Ooooops seems as if he had one or two vodkas too much Before the show he looks sober and relaxed - but the pics after the party belong to the category "pissed drunk". |

Jamirofan, I just saw the video of fashion rocks on funkin.com and I don't think that the hat is out of real snakeskin. I would really hate him for wearing a hat out of snakeskin - that's even worse than fur |

Not only do I think Jay would not make a hat out of snakeskin, it doesn't look like it to me anyway. Of course I'm looking at tiny pictures, but it actually looked like another black fur hat. I'm sure I'm wrong about that, but if it were black fur, I think that'd be a great boost to his American image (everyone knows him here as the guy with the black fur hat, so he'd be instantly recognizable when he returns).
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. School is very busy, and I've been distracted in many directions.
Cheers! |

Yeah....you might be right...
Hello again, :bm_b:
Yeah, you guys might be right about JK's hat not being real snakeskin, maybe imitation snakeskin prints or something like that. But being, from what I'm guessing with a shot in the dark, a expensive hat, it would be make of some animal material, but got to be a synthetic hat. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Hi everyone, havent posted in ages (JamiroFan2000, you know what its like - work, work, work)
I saw Fashion Rocks last Sunday on CH4 (not saturday like it said in one of the posts) I also watched the video from Funkin.com yesterday (Ahh, the joys of broadband - took 30 mins to download). Jk was great. I doubt that the hat it reak snakeskin - I think JK knows better. Here are some screenshots from the video for those that cant view it:
The images are in orger as in the video. I know these are only small, but Media player wont let me do screenshots cos of their f***ing copyright protection, so I had to use windows movie maker, which only has these small previews.
Take Care
Serge

It´s not playback, but the acoustic is not live. Maybe he´s singing over the playback. |

Did ya see all the posh peeps grooving in the audience?
Have to say - Jay Kay + Burberry "Frock" Coat = Baaaaad! The hat was nice, though.
