| Sinclair & its music "Sinclair play on a guitar with six cords and all that can act as instruments" By listening to one of the songs of Sinclair, Fonk, of the friends made me the following reflexion: Oh!!! But it is the music of Starsky & Hutch! Odd not? But were they really wrong? Indeed, its music takes its roots in what one listened to at the time: Soul and Funk. During its current round, while singing "My idol", it pays homage to all those which could influence its musical style, namely: Stevie Wonder for the voice and the melodies, Sly and the Family Stone or George Clinton for the funk 70' S, Prince for the funk 80' S, Jimi Hendrix for the endiablée guitar, James Brown for the scenic performances, Bob Marley for the good attitude... It is necessary to add to that the salt grain of Funk Mob, alias Zdar and Boom Bass (his/her brother), well of others which it would be useless to try to list here (Jackson5, Al Green, Isley Brothers...). Sinclair one Sinclair training course, with or without its System, is a man of scene époustouflant, explosive and one cannot ludic any more. One can only be conquered and amused by the scenic skids, the interactive humour second degree or plays. Moreover, the interactivity is incontestably the strong point of its performances: at the time of the System, Fab-Fab could make take part all crowd using a Simon overhanging the scene. During its the first 3 years of existence, it (him and its System) made, on average, a concert every three days, which represents nearly 300 concerts in France, Europe or in Canada. Moreover, during its concerts, it is not satisfied to restore its songs as on the albums. All are réorchestrées and worked over again, while it can even treat to the luxury to play of the songs which the public does not know. And it goes: "Together", everyone dances, sings, change... System with the Sinclair family "Born of a friendship, the System is a team with multiple qualities. As well group as family, it remains expanding, its functions are unlimited "With the 3rd album, Sinclair concentrates on a new weapon: work in family. Indeed, the year of Labomatic was done around his/her father, Domenica White-Francard (one of the largest sound engineers French) and of his brother, Boom Bass (DJ of Funk Mob and executive producer of Sinclair). It, also, called upon very good people who could bring more technical but also human. On "the test of time", Manu Katché played of the battery and Pierre Adenot carried out arrangement and the direction of the cords, François Ovide brought his guitar accoustics over "A few minutes". |

haha that means "it's so good like that", I once saw an interview of him which said some people call him the french Jamiroquai. I don't really listen to his music but I know the majority of french jamirofans are Sinclair fans too |

Sinclair s great, I so him live 3 times and, so as Jmairoquai, it's always different, always full of joy and energy, and the songs are never played the same way. If you want to know what his songs mean you can ask me! |

Yeah, I never realized, but it's true: it looks like Jamiroquai, not exactly the same but there's something...!
"C'est si bon comme ça" is cool and "Ensemble" (=together) is great too. |

I've re-discovered Sinclair's music recently, thanks to the "Nouvelle Star" (french equivalent of "American Idol") coz he's judge on this TV show now!!!
I only knew 2 songs of him so I search more stuff of him and look what I found:
01:27
http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/sinclair/video/xhsmj_sinclair-plus-vite-que-la-musique-9_events
"Sinclair's thing, it's the Funk, a music to party.
An universe which is not without reminding us another English sprite who runs Soul too: Jamiroquai!!!"
I hope the translation is OK
French familiar expressions are hard to translate! _________________
