"What You Wont Do For Love" is not Roy Ayers' song
**********

I think you know Roy Ayers recorded that track called
"What You Wont Do For Love" in 1979.
i always loved this brilliant song and i discovered it
was originally written and performed by white funk/rare groove
performer Bobby Caldwell in 1978.

check it out, it sounds cool.
this is a 1:30 clip of the song "What you wont do for love"

he is a cool musician!!!!!

this is his album also called "What You Won't Do For Love"
with long mp3 sound clips for all tracks

Cool post High Times..........i am beginning to enjoy your posts more and more Wink Cool

I have only had the Roy Ayers version a few weeks but it is already a firm favourite of mine Very Happy This version is very good also.........and to be honest i wasnt expecting a good track like that to come from this guy but hey i suppose you cannot go on looks eh?

Its strange becuase the first time i ever heard this track was on the Tupac song with the same name! They sample the chorus but hey you are probably aware of this anyway.

Great tune anyway! Roy Ayers is king!!! Cool

WOW. Thanks High Times. This is incredible! Why do so many really GREAT funk artists like this have to dress themselves up to look like cheap, slightly sleazy lounge singers on their album covers, though? If they could just design something that looked... well... FUNKY, people would be so much more aware of them!

Agree with Sam there. Its like they have to try and look a certain way so they can make an attempt to appeal to a wider audience.

Which quite frankly bullsh*t huh?
