Hi Claire
Yes I know David/Bassmaster. I've seen him once at the concert in La Cigale, Paris. And I see him often in the Strongroom Forum. He's very nice.
How do you know him? |

Hey Romain!
I thought you may know him...I met him at the B-Live Festival last July along with Stu'z and Olaf! I'm registered with The Strongroom, but as I'm not fluent in French, I don't tend to post very often! It's lovely to have you here at Jamirotalk though...I know you'll be very happy here!
See you in July!

Mmm, ok well, I've been a member for a little over a week, but I'll intro myself anyway.
My name is Mégan (Meeegan) and I'm 21. Been a Jamifan since 1996, and have collected all I can. I'm always looking for vinyls and anything rare, but usually a hard copy, because I suck at finding things online...
Sadly, I've never seen Jamiroquai live.
I attend USF in Florida and I've got one more year until freedom. Hah. I love all kinds of music and I dance and write muchos. My goals are to travel until I die, and own a car that doesn't make unidentifiable noises while I'm driving it. I think that covers the basics. _________________ ~Mégan |

Hello everyone!
I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier, I just didn't realise about this thread!
Anyway, here it goes:
My name is Marina, I'm 18 years old and I'm from Buenos Aires (yeah, another Argie in the forum! ).
This is my first year in college, I study architecture, and so far I really like it!
I love good music in general. Music sounds almost all-day at home (cd,radio, from my computer, etc). I got that from my dad, he is always listening to music, and he's got a huge collection of CD's and vinyls. I often listen, besides JMQ, Earth Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Kool & The Gang, RHCP, Brand New Heavies, Marvin Gaye, Queen, Alicia Keys, Herbie Hancock, Bee Gees (YES! ahahah), Prince, Bob Marley and The Wailers, Dire Straits, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and the list goes on!
And some of local artists too (like Andres Calamaro.. i just love his music!)
I love hanging around with my friends, I have many of them, but I have a little group of 6 of us that are really close... we know each other since primary school, we grew up together.. so now it's like there's no secrets between us! It's just amazing..
Ok, I don't bore you anymore
Thanks for reading!
Maru.

Hello everybody,
Just registred today, great place here with lots of information, I really dig the info about the bootlegs.
I write songs (bass guitar is my main instrument and I try to sing a little ( http://www.mrgroove.nl/ ), jamiroquai has a big influence on my songwriting (not that I come any close to his music...).
Best!

Welcome (again) Marcel!
Have a look here if you are planning to join some of us at the NorthseaJazz festival in Rotterdam this summer!

By the way, nice website you have!
Are you the one in the pic on the startpage with the bass?
Groetjes,
