attention please
ford gt40
the ford gt40 was born in a time when the ford motor company is trying to buy ferrari automobily spa but they dont accept the rules of ford and the challenge starts...yeah, the ford gt40 borns because ford try to wins the races ferrari wins in that times...
the original car was more low and have so many kgs...but with the carroll shelby helps-again-they put the car on the right line.
the colour of the first cars is the sponsors choice and the car have many evolutions to become a winner...
camilo pardo was the designer of the new ford gt
the car in the same colours as the jay kay car
if we read the history the car wins lemans and the car becomes a icon...
a great piece of art, now camilo pardo is the man behind the reborns of this icon, and for me this car-beyond the history-is one of thje most beautiful cars i've ever seen, and obviusly one of the most specials because this car borns for races and for stop ferraris victories on the europe le mans series...
and im glad to know the designer is a latino who lives in usa.
more info of the car in:

Ah sorry, didn't realise you got it later than us. You mentioned watching Top Gear so I assumed you were in the UK

I found these photos of a Ford GT with the number plate 'JAY IS', so I think it might be Jay's car that I posted late last year in this topic...

But... Just what the hell is that green thing to the left of the car in the first pic? |

we do have cars like that in Italy and they are...electic cars..so that young kids between 16th and 18th can drive too ( what a stupid idea) or that ppl without a driving licence can drive ( smarter idea).
