wild horses-rolling stones
inmortality-bee gees
sing-travis
black sunday-espen lind

corner of the earth-(band name ?? Razz )

most of them are slow songs; I do dance to some music at night, but I do that during the day as well so..

I prefer the night, with songs like Falling, Here without you (3 doors down) or Hard to say I'm sorry (Chicago).
However, if I'm preparing to go out and have fun with friends, I prefer some current dance songs from Alcazar, Joey Negro...

I actually made a "night mix" cd a few years ago... just songs that made me think of nighttime. You gotta be careful with this, because I consider these different than loves songs/jams. The unfortunate thing is, after digging through my CD folder I can't seem to find it. Here are some I remember off the top of my head-

"Do you know where you're coming from"- Jamiroquai
"Breathe"- Telepopmusic
"Pets"- Porno for Pyros
"City Life"- Crystal Waters
"Discoteque" (remix)- U2
"Too Funky"- Geroge Michael
"Six Underground"- Sneaker Pimps
"SpottieOttieDopaliscious"- Outkast
"I can't wait"- Sleepy Brown
"They Say Vision"- Res
"Wash and Dance"- Monade
"Porcelain"- Moby
"Packt like sardines in a crushd tin box"- Radiohead
"All Mixed Up"- 311

A lot of stuff from 311's "Transistor album is good for this too.

Stereolab has a lot of songs that make me think of nighttime. It's because a lot of their music is mellow:
Here are just a few-
"International Coloring Contest"
"Household Names"
"Miss Modular"
"The Flower Called Nowhere"

I thought of a few more-
"Hey Mister DJ"- Zhane
"Electric Relaxation"- A Tribe Called Quest
"Are you in?" and "Stellar"- Incubus

Goodnight Lovers - Depeche Mode

Really nice lullaby - not typical style for DM.

I like the night more - it makes the surroundings look so beautiful.

And here's my playlist of songs that remind me of the night (actually, only a few on the list do, but the others ae just chillout track I listen to every now and then... Usually at night...) :

-"Stranger In Moscow", by Michael Jackson;
-"Немам Ништа С' Тим", by Ђорђе Балашевић;
-"Tabloid Junkie", by Michael Jackson;
-"Blow Your Mind", "Butterfly", "Spend A Lifetime", "Everyday", "Morning Glory", and "Picture Of My Life", by Jamiroquai;
-"Pyramids", and "L'arc En Ciel De Miles", by Incognito;
-"Parraffin", "The End", and "Come Alive", by Planet Funk;
-"Добро Нека Свира", by Црвена Јабука;
-"Чекајући Монтенегро Експрес" and "Старим", by Ђорђе Балашевић;
-"Torch Of Freedom", by [Re: Jazz] (Feat. Joy Denelane);
-"Parabens", by Marcos Valle;
-"White [New Vocal Version]", by Minus 8; <--Recommended (Album: Brazilectro 6, CD 2)
-"Sunny (Jamiroquai cover version)", by Dusty Springfield;
-"My Romance", by the Stan Getz quartet;
-"Talullah", by Jamiroquai.

That should be all...
