2004 Gigs
Evening party people,
Can we expect any Jamiroquai Gig this year?
I´ve read at frenchiroquai.com that they will probably do a benefit concert in Paris, Bercy regarding Planetecologie.org, and, what about Montreux 2004? Should we even consider a Jamiroquai Gig there this year?
Let´s see, the Montreux Programme will be announced 22nd of April so... let´s hope we can find a God that we can pray to
P.S. I´m really sorry for the Jamiroquai fans in the US i mean how long since the last Jamiroquai Gig in the good, old US of A?
I mean i saw the 2 concerts here in Portugal, the last was quite poor actually, buy at least i swa them...
Peace, love each other.

Last time the band played on this soil, I believe, was September 10th, 2001, on the Regis and Kelly show (the day before the terrorist attacks).
Yeah, it's been too long. Hope they play montreux, at least. There are always great recordings from that festival.
Cheers. |

Your right Freddie!
Hello, :bm_r:
Your right Freddie about Jamiroquai playing the Regis & Kelly on the morning of Sept. 10th 2001. But Jamiroquai also played the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC the evening of September 10th 2001 too. JK mentioned in his Nov. 2001 Radio 1 Interview that they were stranded in the States for that week till the U.S. Government lifted the international flights ban on the U.S. airports. All he said he could remember was big plumes of smoke, and once he got on the plane all he could think about is drinking and shagging, that comment came to a little offense to me, but he probably didn't realize the magnitude of the attacks. In regards to the 2004 tour plans for Jamiroquai, I don't see Jam doing a tour till probably late Summer 2004, just in time to support the first single for the untitled 6th Jamiroqui album (Could be "Midnight Sun" or not...). Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Did he really said that? Anyway, I don´t think they are going to do gigs after the release of the new album.
By the way, how do you know it might be called like the tour? |

That's interesting... why don't you think they'd do any gigs after the album is released? That's usually the best way they promote their new album I think. And the Midnight Sun thing was just speculation, but I don't really think that will be the name. Who knows, I could be wrong. |

Yep, from my point of view, the band should be touring this late summer, just before the new album. |

Yeah, I was there for that concert. And that was also the same night Michael Jackson was having a concert at MSG. |
