Hello anfer!!!
Welcome to jamirotalk.net!
Here are the names of the three background singers. But I can' t tell you which of them is the one you're searching for.
Maybe someone else can help?

Last week Kylie Minogue (spelling right??) sang in a popular German TV show - TV Total - and guess who was one of her backing vocals?? Valerie Etienne - I first couldn't believe it!! It was a bit strange to see her with someone else but she was very cool!! |

Hmm, this topic seems not to be very interesting.... but what also came into my mind was: she should be recording the new album with the guys instead of touring with Kylie...
I really wonder how long we have to wait.....

I think that we can't take backing vocals as a steady part of the group.Backing vocalists are much more often considered as a "session players" only for particular gigs or recording.
for example Geroge Michael and Sting are "exchanging"vocalists all the time....
Generally I don't think that Jamiroquai as a group became so huge /there are no longer just "four guys" /I am starting to loose the feeling of "our guys"or "our group".....Toby's gone, Nick's gone....
hope you know what I mean

Yes, I know what you mean but what about Rob and Sola and Derrick ? I also know that the backing vocalist often change from one tour or album to another - but because of the DVD an some concerts of the last tour on Video they became very familiar to me... |

I know what you mean, Basia.
But anyway if they sing in the new album, that means that the album is almost finished or... they didn´t even start. Cause, they´ve become very familiar for me too.
PS: I WANT 6TH ALBUM NEWS!!! (almost 3 years since AFO!!!) Sorry, that came from the bottom of my heart. |

Well ,I hope that new album will be finished soon...as far I know /just personal experiences:wink: /backing vocals are recorded either at the end of the recording session /afterinstruments and lead vocal/or after the instruments 've been finished and the lead vocal isn't recorded yet....
So when they are listed that they are on the new album it shouldn't be so long .....calm down Dieguito |

I don't really like jamiroquai with backing vocals, but I got to say the girls have terrific voices!
I'll always prefer the times of D-Zire & Wallis... |
