Okay, here we go – a bit more detailed. I am not going to review the concert in detail, as I am sure lots of other people will do it as well. In general I can say that it was one of the best Jamiroquai-Concerts I’ve ever been to.
Jay was in a brilliant mood and enjoying himself on stage tremendously. And so was the band. You could tell that they were playing on home ground.
But it wasn’t only the performance that made this concert so special but also the fact, that it was the biggest Jamily-Meeting I’ve ever been to.
I’m not going to go into too much detail about what we’ve done and where we met, as I will mix it up anyway (Brain still not working properly). Let the others tell this part of the story.
All I can say is that I am very thankful to have met all these people that I’ve known for months or even years online in real life. Every single person there is a brilliant character and I was really amazed how easy it was to get along with everyone. From the first minute it didn’t feel like I just met people for the first time in my life but more like I have known these people for years. I can’t put into words how much I enjoyed the last weekend and how thankful I am about it. About everything! About meeting everyone, about the atmosphere we all created before and at the concert and at the party. It really shows that we are all connected in more than one way. For me, it’s not only the music or the band Jamiroquai – it’s only the beginning. I feel, I connected to so many people on so many different levels, it’s hard to describe really. All of you who couldn’t be there – be assured you have been missed and thought of! And we all decided that we will have a Jamily-Meeting once a year from now. So all you guys better start saving your money! HEHE
Just some random comments for the people who’ve been in London this last weekend (I know, I’m missing lots of people, please forgive me)
Mouse – no words!
Deesha – Just say “I do”! But we have make one thing clear – it’s YOU with the attitude going on, not me! You are one hell of a dancer!
Audrey - We might not look like her in the morning, but one day we will reach perfection! I’m sure! And you already have the most gorgeous smile in the world!
Nathalie – You got the perfect pair of sunglasses! (Do I get the picture now?)
Claire – You know that I’m always here for you! J Just gimme a ring!
Madeleine and Linda – Welcome to the club! I saw you at the concert! There’s no escaping now!
Jan – I’m not horrible! It’s you who wanted a substitute dad! Deal with it!
Sandra – Calm down! Breathe! Relax! _________________ Dear Auntie Em. Hate you, hate Kansas, took the dog. Dorothy. x |

Wow! I have no voice today and have never been so tired in my life, but never so happy either. It has been an incredible weekend seeing London, going to the concert (12 hours waiting in line/at the front row was worth it!), the party... and of course doing all this with the Italians has been WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!
I will post a review and some more thoughts when I get home tomorrow, and Fra has suggested we set up a Lovebox photobucket for everyone to put their pics on.
Love to all

Hey everyone!
I hope you're all well.
I arrived back home today after the most memorable weekend of my life.
I'm filled with so many emotions that I'm finding it very difficult to write my review. All I will say for now is this : Patience certainly has its rewards!

Your words couldn't be more true, Stephan
The Jamily really is something special and I feel so honoured to be a part of it.
Love to you all.

Party People!!!!
Wow, what a great weekend I've spent with the jamily.
Everyone is so nice. I don't have words to qualify how I'm feeling with you all. I don't dare to quote all you, because I know I'll miss some of you, and it's unforgivable.
In fact, on the Saturday night, when I saw you for the very first time, I was very shy and a little afraid. I was thinking "oh, what can I say?? What can I say?? Say a word ". But after five minutes, these feelings were definetly gone. It was like we knew each other for a long time. I liked that so much.
I'm at home, and I just thinking of that event, of you.
So the concert was really really super. I was so surprised when I heard the first seconds of (Don't) Give Hate a Chance. And Jay just kept surprising us...
And after Revolution, when he said that they'll play another song from the first album, I thought of "Too Young To Die" (Sure I'm not the only one who has thought that)... But finally, he said "If I Like It, I Do It". That was so amazing. It's simple. Just after he has pronounced "I do it", the first row shouted a lot. I filmed the first second of "If I Like It" so I will share it on Youtube. Needless to say the performance was fabulous
And for Stillness In Time, that was the same feelings. It was like this gig was just for fans.
There was no "encore". But we mustn't turn ours nose up. The setlist was so amazing. We just can thank the band
Sorry my poor review, because I'm not good for that. I just hope that those who can't have been with us will feel this experience the most like we felt when you'll be reading our messages.
I miss you all already . Can't wait for the next time!!!!!!!! |

Well, I can only very quickly echo what's been said already by CosmicBear and Rom - it was as brilliant meeting everyone as the gig itself was.
I filmed the whole of If I Like It, and a few seconds / minutes of a couple of other tracks, as well as taking some slightly blurry photos - I'll get them up in an hour or so, as well as giving you all my weekend review. But right now I've got to go and EAT, I'm starving. So catch you later...
