I have a feeling the new video will have a Parkour, or free running thing going on.. 'Runaway' sounds like an apt title to feature Parkour, plus it mentions on a website that Jay would like to feature some of those freerunners on his next video. This is the interesting part..
More recently Daniel was part of a trio of Freerunners commissioned by top Sports Marketing Agency KHP Consulting to entertain the crowd and Formula 1 teams at the 2006 Gulf Air Bahrain F1 Grand Prix as part of KHP Consulting’s Yalla Bahrain! Campaign. On behalf of its client, the Bahrain International Circuit, KHP Consulting conceptualised the ‘Jump Bahrain’ phenomenon where the Parkour experts used the unique and stunning architecture of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Bahrain International Circuit as their personal playground. Daniel’s array of jaw dropping skills were showcased to the World’s Media which sealed him a potential role in a forthcoming Jamiroquai video and made him one of the weekend stars of the exclusive Formula One Paddock, Formula One Paddock Club and the state of the art circuit. |

Yup, i agree Marina...
and maybe, just maybe, Runaway has no special or secret meaning. perhaps it's just a song!

 Hello again,
 I highly doubt "Runaway" will incorporate OR have any inspiration of that long lost "Midnight Funk" clip, but it was worth mentioning in this brainstorm, I mean Interlude 2# (From the rare UK Test Pressing of "A Funk Odyssey") inspired the vocal bassline to "Feels Just Like It Should", so the same could happen here . Also, another thought on the same vein discussion could that 2nd audio clip be part of this new song, you know, the one with the raised guitar effect with JK ablibbing, "Owwww...boo doo, boo doo, doo!" But who knows where this "Runaway" will lead, could be into the long, lust, steamy forests of the "Old Sound", OR the neon metropolis techno influence of the "New Sound". Yes. That is true. But after that announcement about going back to the old school during the Greatest Hits Tour, maybe there is a chance that Runaway will lead into the "Old Sound"  .

Yes, i would. But Sony/Jamiroquai would not lose a penny on me.
Because it wil be a struggle to get the single anyway, last one i had to buy on the internet!!
But once i get my hands on it, it wil take weeks to get it, i will buy it.
My collection is near complete, so it would be strange to stop collecting now. |
