Jay gave me autograph / I met the band!!!!
i have been to 2 jamiroquai shows and
on both shows i stood in the front row
in front of JAY.
And i have to tell you Jay gave me autograph!!!
When the first gig was going to its end they started to play
Deeper Underground (and i took my Deeper Underground cd single with me) so i showed cd single to JAY and when Jay saw me holding the single
he started to point with his hand at me, i throew it to him and the single landed behind Rob, who started to play solo on guitar. Jay took the single from the floor and ran to the left side of the stage to Rob's Guitar tech
and asked him for a pen to sign, signed it and threw it back to me!!!!
so my friends shoot it on cameras!!! so here are the scans!!!

THE SIGNED SINGLE
on the second gig i met all the band except JAY 2 times - before and after the show!!! I spoke to Paul, Rob, Sola, Derrick and Matt!!!!!
i was the only one who met them at the entrance .
so first arrived Rob and Paul.
When i saw them i had such a crazy happy feeling that its hard to describe....
and i talked to them and Paul recognized me- he said "hey i remember you! You were rocking in the front row last gig!!"
When i told Rob that i am High Times from forums he said
loudly "Seriously?!!! Is That you???!!" and he added to Paul :"this guy is very much into the band!" So we spoke a little bit more. i was so shocked and smiled like crazy and i asked rob for autographs and even forgot to ask paul about one - because i was so much excited!!!!
they shook my hand and said ok we got to go, - wait for the rest of the band - they will arrive soon. They were so cool i couldnt believe it was happening to me!!!!
after that Derrick Sola and Matt arrived!!!!
Derrick came to me first and i said "Derrick i am your biggest fan,
i am High Times from forums and i wrote about you on forums!"
I had a mobile phone in hand and it was playing Roy Ayers "Coffy Is The Color" and Derrick said "you have some cool music here, man".
he said thanks man, gave me autograph shook my hand - i was soooo happy in that moment!!!!
and after that Sola and Matt came to me.
i thanked Sola for his amazing playing he said "thanks man!!!"
gave me autograph, and shook hand! I told Matt he was cool in St Petersburg, and that i also bought Rhodes piano Suitcase 88.
he said : "really? thats cool!". Of course i spoke with the guys more than that, but i was so excited i dont remember what other things i told them...
Then after the gig has come to its end, i went to the same entrance
and met the band again!!! this time we spoke much longer than first time i met them.
i thanked Rob for everything (unfortunately i forgot everything i wanted to tell him so much)
i said he has made cool solos and his guitars sounded unbelievable this gig. He said "which one - Gibson or Strat?" i said both were cool!! i said so did you understand that it was me who asked you those questions on the forums? He said "Of Course i understood" and said to Paul : "This guy
is the only one who defends me on forums, everybody keeps tellin i am too rocky!!"
we talked a lot with Sola !!!! i said i also try percussion and he was very much surprised!!!
i said i have been listening to jamiroquai for 10 years and he said : "so you started in 1997
when "Travelling Without Moving" was released? That was the first album i recorded with the band.
I said he is the best percussion player in the world for me, that his congas and triangle playing is magical and that he has influenced my feel of rhythm so much, and that i love jamiroquai
and 70s soul-funk oldschool - most of all Marvin Gaye, who had great percussion on records. Sola said
"yes Marvin Gaye had amazing percussion player!!!" Sola gave me the second autograph and shook my hand.
Paul was with his bass in case again which he has said was his favourite bass - Fender Jazz Bass made in 1978. I asked him what songs he recorded with George Michael - he said "Outside" and the second one's name i didnt hear well, so i said that he so much fits Jamiroquai style, that he is amazing fantastic cool bass player and he said couple of things about his playing, about inspiration, he was soo coool!!!!
he even showed his bass guitar!!! i said,"Paul i forgot to ask you about autograph first time i met you"
he said "Let's do it now!!!"
So it were the best moments in my life!!!!

wasn´t it u saying in a forum " i will never meet them" and i said..u will just wait..u will because u deserve it?"...tell me if i am wrong..hehehe

I just loved reading your post High Times - as I know it means so much for you to meet all the band - HUGE congrats on meeting them and I'm sure you'll meet them many more times - thanks once again for sharing your experience
