Am looking forward to seeing that one Smile

One of my favourites of all time, is the Hitchcock classic "Rear Window" with James Stewart and Grace Kelly.

The scenery is brilliant, considering the film was made in 1954! If you haven't seen it already, I recommend that you do Smile

no favorite or horribles here (oh well maybe there is)

I don't know what cinema's in other country's play but I whish that they'd played from time to time some older blockbusters.

I'm a big Stars Wars fan and although DVD's do give you a good expierence those kind of movies movies are best viewed on a large screen with an awsome soundsystem - one which makes you tremble in your chairs.

I remember that they released the Sepcial Editions back in 1997 which was my first chance to see all the Star Wars movies in cinema instead of the VCR player.

this is my plea to cinema's (at least in Holland) to do something with the older Blockbusters. Movies from wich you knwo people want to see them again.

LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE is amazing. I just came back from that movie. I suggest everyone go see it. It's a comedy, but there is so much emotion in it. I want to see it again.

Greg Kinnear and Steve Carrell both deserve an award for this...
and the little girl in it - the whole damn cast does.

GO SEE IT!

I was talking about this last night and realized not a lot of people know about this movie, so here you go. The morning after I am still loving it:

The family that pops Prozac together stays together, perhaps, but the family that piles into an old Volkswagen bus the color of a banana surely has more entertainment value. That at least seems true of the happily (for us) unhappy relations at the center of the bittersweet comedy of dysfunction “Little Miss Sunshine,” a tale about genuine faith and manufactured glory that unwinds in the American Southwest, but more rightly takes place at the terminus of the American dream, where families are one bad break away from bankruptcy. Written by the newcomer Michael Arndt, and directed by the husband-and-wife team of Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, seasoned music-video directors making an effortless feature-film debut, “Little Miss Sunshine” relates the story of the Hoovers, just around the time that the youngish, harried Sheryl (Toni Collette) takes her suicidal brother, Frank (Steve Carell), under her wing. Straight from the hospital, Frank moves in with Sheryl’s family, including her 7-year-old daughter, Olive (Abigail Breslin); teenage son, Dwayne (Paul Dano); husband, Richard (Greg Kinnear); and father-in-law, a heroin-tooting crank simply called Grandpa (Alan Arkin). They may be more downmarket than Wes Anderson’s Tenenbaums and a lot scruffier than the average big-studio clan. But like most American comedy families, they are also a familiar social microcosm, a group of radically individualized souls in search of one another. — Manohal Dargis, The New York Times

I just wanted to tell you all that even if you don't have an interest, go see the movie INVINCIBLE with Mark Wahlberg, which comes out this Friday here, but not sure about around the world.

WHY YOU ASK?

Because it's about a guy from my neighborhood, so obviously the movie was shot in Philadelphia. But it was shot in South Philadelphia, which is exactly where I live. They show so much of my home. Streets right around the corner from me, the street my gym is on..all of that. I remember when they were filming it and we couldn't park on the streets and things were shut down. It was crazy. They show our sports arena and all that stuff. It's one of those jock type inspirational films, but whatev Rolling Eyes

It's home. I love it and I'm happy to see my neighborhood and neighbor's houses on film.

Plus, Mark Wahlberg is not that bad to look at (just my opinion).

YES! excellent movie. Also it shows that digital animation has reached an amazing level.
A fantastic movie, very very well done. I was impressed when I saw it.
The deal Disney & Pixar ends with this movie. Although Disney already has the rights to release Toy Story 3 in 2008.
It has been produced by Pixar also, and now is being produced by Disney or something like that.
