NEW MUSIC: Under The Influence Of Giants
 Hello,
 It always bring a nice smile to my face when I discover new music that doesn't fit the usual mold of "here today, gone today", especially when it's in the thick of the Emo-Revival American rock scene . That is why I was pleasantly surprised when I caught this new band on "Jimmy Kimmell" the other night last week, they are from Los Angeles and are called sarcastically "Under The Influence Of Giants". I thought this band had something to do with "Jack & The Beanstalk", their unique sound could certainly tedder-todder a beanstalk to the ground! Their self-titled album comes out tomorrow in the states, and their sound is a mixed bag, a little synth disco of The Killers here, some booming Chili Peppers basslines there, and alot of amazing music inbetween. Their debut is very stunning, simply due to my unfair "American expectation" of hearing "The same old new stuff", that is, bending my ears like a Vulcan and expecting to hear the same old rock n roll variational homage music. But these guys are VERY different and really are great! Check out their website at:
