My name is Daniel, but I don't use to write my real name in nicknames. In the Spanish jamiroforum I was King for a Funk, a mix of words which don't need no explanation.
When I logged in jamirotalk, I wanted to introduce a bit my political feelings in my nickname, and make everybody know that Spain is not (only) Madrid, toros and sun. In Spain there are some nations with its own language, its own philosophy of life, and its own sense of humour. Most of us don't feel we are Spanish at all. That's what happens in Catalonia. We have our own identity, and I wanted to expose this fact using my nickname. |

mr.az...hard to explain...this nick borns in the art school when i try to show my poems to eveyone in a magazine of the school and i dont want all know my real name...and mr.az is more mystic than all can imagine... 
mr.az is a carachter based on me-and mitologic histories i've read in many places about the magicians of the merlin's times...-and mr.az is part of the merlin's secret society...and his name means...
two things
mr.az(mr.a to z)
mr.az-there's the magicians truth...
mr.az is one of the magicians who know the secrets of the humanity and some weird things he cant reveal...but his name means he have power over all the things of nature and over everything, he never giveup because his power is doing what he can do working with the nature and the society...he is''the lord of the begging to the end''
''mr.az-mr. magician who starts with the nature and works forever to the end of the times'' 
basically, im part of a secret society of peoplewho love nature. planet earth and want a better world...and we come from the merlin times...
im sure nobody imagine this about me, well, i read mitologic books always when i can and i like the lord of the rings book, harry potter...you know...and always i love the planeat earth , the nature and the humanity.

when i was at school people called me Beto (a short name to call people named Alberto) at that time, 2000 i think, i was starting to become a fan and always drew the buffalo man everywhere i could. My friends at school realized i was so much into jamiroquai that started calling me jamirobeto. I never liked it and forgot it when i finished school. But when the time came and i had to choose a nickname jamirobeto was my first thought.
