Patrice Rushen - "Settle For My Love".
it has fantastic space cowboy vibe.

Patrice Rushen - "Haven't You Heard"
brilliant funky song with cool rhodes piano solo.

Marvin Gaye - "Turn On Some Music", "My Love Is Waiting".
the second one was written by Marvin's guitarist, Gordon Banks.

Yes, Patrice Rusen is always a great choice!!

I'd recommend a bit of disco funk, old school:

Shalamar - A night to remember
Shalamar - get down saturday night[/quote]

Valentine - The Delays
From A Distance - Bette Midler (that song has my name's meaning in it)
Circle. Square. Triangle. - Test Icicles
Somewhere - subways

god i could go on

and anything by The Feeling Very Happy

Spark - Tori Amos..the music alone is wonderful - isolation of instruments, but the lyrics are dope too.

and

A Little Bit More - Jamie Lidell...I will be at sea with him (boat concert cruise) in about 7 hours in New York. I can't wait!

Have a good weekend all, Deesh Wink

muscle museum - Muse

Candyman - Christina Aguilera

Some Velvet Morning - Primal Scream (ft. Kate Moss)

Made Up Lovesong #43 - Guillemots

muscle museum is one of muse's best songs ever in my oppinion, and my friend is playing it (for me i have decided) in his band's gig on september 9th - if you can get to voodoo lounge, in plymouth by 8pm that night i'll love you (the bands myspace is www.myspace.com/goodmendonothing if you wanna check them out -- thank you ^.^)
