I'm not happy, I'm not impressed, cos I'm very disappointed :/ It's nothing special, track is simply average :/ -Really I've been expected too much?? Ofcourse Runaway is better than black devil car, electric mistress etc but it don't present full Jamiroquai's energy, skills and style... Sample of remix was better, mostly stronger! Even though we never heard full version of Grant Nelson mix, I think that was a very promising thing! I thought that JMQ oldschool style will finally comeback to us! But today I expired that he don't returned. When I was listening to Runaway somewhere in a middle (after 2nd stanza) I thought that radiostation put some jingle on a track...but it was a 'transition' -just like, boys from Sony were impressed for latest Madonna's tracks That was terrible, it dont match with whole tune and spoiled it :/ I'm fan of JMQ since 1999 and i'm really disappointed! p.s. sorry 4 my english _________________ Polish Jamiroquai Fansite --- http://jam.pl ---

ok i hope the people who missed that song today would hear it tomorrow (if i live in the uk i whould listen the whole day bbc1 at work in the radio) im a bit disappointed of that song and i love it!!!!!!!! but i have to say that not everything is bad i really like some parts (one remembers me on you give me something anywhere at 2.30 minutes) _________________ maxud braucht funk food denn dann bleibt maxud maxud tell me if these are ligh years... dont stop the beat...

But from what I have heard, I am extremely impressed, yeah the lyrical is a bit infantile, but all those amazing sounds on this song make up for that little fault ! i've still only managed to hear the 1.16 segment - it sounds good, pretty funky, pretty dancey - sounds just like the AFO era in my opinion. Does anyone have the lyrics yet? I'd like to know what Jay's singing "i'm a FRUITY man"????? I like that bit; he sort-of whoops the words. Is Runaway a song for funky, depressed people?????? _________________ All Hail the King

Hello again, Well, Sister Deesh, do I have to explain my referencing to calling "Runaway" a "classic" ? I mean, given they are leaving a long discography with Sony/BMG behind, I could have said the "first classic new Jami song outside the spectrum of Sony". I think and consider this song a "classic", though it appears to rub badly with most of the senior fans, but didn't Jamiroquai's veering to a "new sound" starting in "Synkronized" rub the same fans the bad way? I still love it, regardless of what everyone thinks, this is my opinion, and I stick to it, hate it or love it.
