Reading all of the comments made, i agree with some and not with others.
I mean, firstly who knows what "really" went on. The paparazzi in the UK are one of the worst out there if not "the" worst and most of them do need a good slapping. They will insult people to the point where any normal human being would snap........ as Jay did.
But then someone made the comment "poor Jay" which did make me smile to be honest. I mean hes a grown man at the end of the day and he chose to do this. Although i would have probably done the same had i had to put up with shit that the UK paparazzi dish out.
And on a final note..........this aint Jamiroquai..........this is Jay. Two different things. |

I'm really upset about all of this. I havent been on here at all realy since it first happened - it wasnt very nice to come home to!!
I dunno why I'm upset about it - but i am!!
I feel so bad for him.
and i think as someone said earlier on in the thread - he's going down the same road as people like, you know - eric clapton(?) and people

he's on this kinda self-distruct path...

but, I just feel so sorry for him - and if he ever gets to see that video - oh boy!!
and when all those paps are laughing at him and calling him names - that makes me so angry.
i think its cos he is someone i respect...
and to see him in this situation is just so confusing.
I really don't know what to feel!
so i cry!!!

but i really do hope he sorts it out.

im part of green day forums too, and i've found people who ask me about jamiroquai(because i spread jamiroquai in every forum i post)and about the jay kay incident¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
this becomes bigger than i can imagine...
in fact, im gonna suggest buy the albums in other forums even where jamiroquai is not the kind of music they listen alot...

Well this is my first comment on this subject and until today i just thought oh whatever from just reading the articles about the incident but the video is now on youtube:

And having watched that I have mixed feelings about the incident!
Yeah Jay was very drunk and his actions can't be condoned but at the same time the way they are in his face taking pictures and laughing at him and mocking him because they know he's drunk makes me think if I was Jay I would probably lash out like that and i'm not a violent person at all
Some things in the world make me think 'why?'
