cover
I really like it instantly,
it shows jay breaking free from sony and maybe his crown of thorns he had to wear while he was dictated too?
it closes an era although I would like a buffalo
My idea would be a technicolor buffalo man showing the spectrum of his career - what do you think? _________________

I like it. Is very different of the rest of their album covers.
And it could mean a lot of things! That's what I like about art (in this case, an album cover), and I see it more as the end of an era. Which isn't always bad. I'm sure the buffalo man will be on the back, aswell on the inside, I don't complain about it. This is a fine and creative cover artwork, which makes a big difference with the rest of the albums.

I'm not going into details about whether the cover photo has some hidden message or not. I can think of several things it could mean. But it could also be exactly what I've decided to consider it to be... a helluva beautiful photo. Nothing more, nothing less.
I like it. It's well tasty. But... like someone suggested at funkin.com they should have drawn a Buffalo Man in the sand. That my friends would have been the icing on the cake.
Nevertheless... it's a really good looking cover imho. And it actually doesn't bother me much at all that there is no Buffalo Man there. _________________ Old school forever! |

Hello,
Tries to think of something poetic to say :
A older but wiser Jason Kay looks upon the neverending and rough beach of Sony/BMG, riddled with past musical aquisitions embedded deep into the sand. Jason looks fondly out towards the comforting waves of the sea, as the crashing waves salty foam beckons him to join in. Jason looks backward while the endless echoes of bothersome Sony executive's voices play around him with promises of a less intrusive new contract, less label interaction in their creative process and more profit and royalities been sent his way. J screams out in frustration, and the voices come to silence. Then Jason breaks a mild smile on his voice as the sun breaks out from the overcast clouds and casts a warm sunbeam on him. Jason gives in, drops his trademark hat, onto the uninviting beach and runs toward the waves of the ocean. Right at the edge of the sliding waves, J jumps and splashes happily into the freedom of the ocean, and begins to wade out to a uncertain future, while the sun guides his way. His hat casts a lonely eye to the flickering image of a swimming JK in the sea, then thinks to itself, "This was meant to be...".
Hehe, I think that was what Meike was expecting me to type out of my imagination, I hope you all liked it . In regards to the album, what a great picture and befitting way to visually sum up 15 years of hard work on the rough beaches of Sony/BMG. I am extremely proud of this pick and will be even happier when I purchase this GH...whenever it reaches American shores ! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

I'm sure is gonna be in the back, of in the inside... or in the CD... or in the DVD cover... or in the single cover... who knows.
I'm not missing it a lot, the last 3 albums had the hat in the cover, it seems like is the new "logo" for J.
