Bullet & Just Another Story... (Bullet LYRICS!!)
Does anybody aside from me find them extremely similar? I mean, just the melody and whatnot?

That actually makes me think about Bullet... You know that some Dynamite promos had the beatbox as their outro track? What if Bullet was an outro for TROTSC, but was lated slammed onto the VI single?

Also, Jay clearly says the word 'bullet' in the chorus of JAS. 'A bullet in the head is a lesson learned'. Does he make a reference to that song [B] or something?

About the lyrics from Bullet... I think I can digitally manipulate the track to extract the vocal, and make it louder. Pure weirdness nobody's thought of that...

You mean the riff? That could be, but the other parts are very different.

JAS riff actually sounds kinda similar to the intro from "Hey Bulldog" by The Beatles (anyone else thinks so?)

somebody asked also the same thing time ago about bullet and just another story.
the riff of the beggining is in fact so close to JAS one. the wird thing is that other parts of bullet are more close to virtual insanity (the intrumental interlude on VI).
in the JAS version of midnight sun tour, there was a "new" part with a repeated " a bullet in the head is a lesson learned" wich was practically the same as this bullet riff, but also in the virtual insanity of synkronized tour, the intro used was part of bullet song.

could it be an early version of a song, wich finally did into JAS (just like life goes on and do that dance into scam). some parts are finally a part of a actual song and some other are missed, and later used in other tunes (like the part of do that dance later used as outro of use th force in TWM tour, and as mentioned, the intro of virtual insanity with bullet.

about the lyrics on it, definitely someone should try that manipulation to tak ethe voice out.

about the beetles song, i just don't know it, but i'm gonna check Wink

i just heard the bulldog song.
it could be some kind of reminiscence on it with the riff of JAS/bullet, but not so much

Hey! I finally got to understand a few words from Bullet!

Here they are:

00:11 More than you get...
03:46 Light Years!
03:46-47-48 Can pass me...

Now guess what?

Guess this:

Quote:
Can you give more than get*
Get down
With a conscious train of thought.

Light years
Can pass me
by without me realising
I'm water in a stream
But ya got to keep it clean.

Dirty dreams
Purity.

How can
So many people think they're right when
Everybody's wrong?

*(Unsure about this one)

To hear it all, you need headphones, LOUD ONES, you need to shut off the BassBoost [Mute doesn't do it. Move the slider down!], and put treble to the max!

When all is in its place, we can see that the mysterious JAS misprint wasn't a misprint at all, but the lyrics of a song with a similar melody... This also proves that Bullet, just as Mr. Boogie [a.k.a. Slippin' 'n' Slidin'] were both written during the TROTSC era, and haven't found their places, beat-wise, in any of the 2 albums, since it was to serious for TWM, and too mellow for TROTSC.

Where can I hear a version of JAS from the Midnight Sun Tour? I only have the Luna Park bootleg.
