hi there everyone. I am Rob, a huge Jamiroquai fan. I have been listening to Jamiroquai for just over a year now, and it was only by chance that i first listened to them; Virtual Insanity was my first song. I was hooked straight away and then couldn't get enough. I bought Travelling Without Moving and then subsequently all of the other albums! I also have some singles but my Jamiroquai colleciton is not huge. I hoep to one day go and see them live, an experience it would be
Im 16 and i am currently studying at 6th Form college in England. I am a huge motorsports and cars fan and i race karts from time to time, once being scouted by a Rallying/Hill Climb club for the future. I hope to enjoy myself and i must commend the Admin and Mods as this forum is really great, well laid out and easy to use |

Ciao a tutti!
In particoular to FRA, Janluka, Funky Donkey, Pepela and everyone else who attend the italian forum.
Despite of the info* under my invisible avatar**, I'm basically new here, and eager to know you all.
Something about me...
I'm 19 and I discovered Jamiroquai 7 years ago, with their stunning video for "Canned Heat". It was love at first sight, though I officialy became a fan in 2002, when I completed Jamiroquai's basic discography.
I study economy at university and have a serious passion for music, although I'm more into electronic/NuSoul stuff than Acid Jazz (as probably most of you are).
It will take a loooong time before I read all the old posts of this forum (and I'm gonna do it!), and I can't even assure a full presence. Though I'm here since my passion for Jamiroquai has recently increased (it must be the Greatest Hits release) and I felt the urge to get in a community bigger than the italian one (let's call it "love necessity").
P.S.: I forgot to say that usually my nicknames are "Il Rifugiato", "Lotus Eater" or "Reef", though I had the bad idea to choose this one when I entered here. To be honest, I think it sucks.***
*I forgot I registered here 9 months ago, and today I was really suprised when I noticed someone had the same e-amil address of mine...
**And actually, I don't have an avatar.
*** For further explainations, meet me at the nickname topic. |

Hello,
The grandest of hellos to all the newest members of JamiroTalk, I hope you all have a great stay here, meet and make some good longstanding friends and contribute GREATLY to all Jamiroquai banter on here . It's always a pleasure and a privilege to meet and get to know more and more great Jamiroquai fans across this blue orb of ours, and I look forward to talking and sharing memories with each of you, whenever the casual IM intersects us . Again, welcome and have a great time! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
P.S. to Mini JK: I'm sure Sister Samantha doesn't mind you borrowing her old signature, gosh darn it, I want of those cool little "Runaway" video snippet banners . _________________

Hellooooo! I'm Niels, 20 years old and from Holland. I study to become a teacher in French (2 years to go).
I discovered Jamiroquai's music last year when Dynamite came out. So i'm not really a long-term fan but I have been following the band since then and visited this site accidentally. Seems like a nice place to come and talk about my favorite band! I scrolled through some of the topics (Lovebox) and saw what a great time you're having with each other at the Jamiroquai concerts. I hope to be part of that in the near future!
I saw Jamiroquai live twice; last year in Ahoy' Rotterdam and this summer also in Ahoy' (North Sea Jazz).
Greetings! |
