Here's a small article about Jay at the Awards...
The gospel of Jay Kay
Midday is a little early for a pop star to leave bed, so we take our (most ridiculous) hat off to Jamiroquai's Jay Kay, who staggered into the Q magazine music awards one hour and 40 minutes late yesterday lunchtime.
The dazed, bedraggled musician headed straight for the bar, only to find it closed, to his considerable annoyance. An apparatchik was dispatched to his table with a mojito.
With the zeal of an anti-drugs messenger, Mr Kay (who dabbles in organic gardening away from his recording studio) offered Pandora's green-fingered readers some advice: "Just don't put any of that shit on it, it's not worth it. Keep it clean."

Here's another article...
JAY'S O-KAY..AT THE Q Awards 2006
HE can be feisty - especially when it comes to snappers...
But Jamiroquai's Jay Kay, who presented Smokey Robinson with the Q Outstanding Contribution to Music Award, didn't mind having his picture taken with our Caroline and said he was on best behaviour.
The 36-year-old singer told us: "I'm a jolly young man and I shall keep my fists and punches to myself." Glad to hear it...

PS: I accidentally posted 2 photos of Jay with Eva (from The Mirror) instead of the photo of Carolyn & Jay - I've updated this post with the correct photo _________________

Fra, that's a poppy which is worn by different nations on Remembrance Day (11th November) as a tribute to those who lost their lives in World War 1.

Here's another article...
TOP MERCS TO JAY KAY
HERE'S something you don't see very often - Jay Kay leaving an event without getting into a punch-up with photographers.
Instead the Jamiroquai singer clung to our Eva, who promised to shield him from the waiting paps in return for a lift in his swanky stretch Mercedes, once owned by Coco Chanel, to the Q awards after-party.
We approve of the return of this space cowboy...

We know this guy in the back, Jazz-Café-Jamily, don't we?!
That was the guy who picked up Janluka's and Inaki's stuff to bring it to Jay for signing. Must be his new bodyguard or personal assistant or something like that...

Thank you for the information, I've been in London in November for several times and I always wondered why some people wore that flower. _________________
