well snow???
no many rain yesterday
ok a lil story it was the first november
i woke up at 7 o clock and then i wanted to go to work
well thats not the worst part of it
i go out and saw the rain...
soo much cold rain...
too much cold rain...
i cant see more than 50 meters (only caused by the rain!!!!)
unfortunately i can only ride a bike xD
and it was freezing cold
so i though i have no other choice than go by bike to work...
when i was at work i was soo wet that i though i should go back home xD
i hope we get no snow this year i wish it we get 25 degrees out there with many sunshine xD
because in winter im afraid of black ice - by bike its no advantage... _________________ maxud braucht funk food denn dann bleibt maxud maxud

What is it with grain for those bloody Commies, eh?! Everything revolves around grain harvests... seriously, did he ACTUALLY say that, or is that some comedian taking the piss out of a stereotypical Russian premier?

He actually said it at a conference in Moscow. Global warming was the agenda. Nations in the Arctic region gathered to discuss what they're going to do when warmer weather starts to melt their landscapes. Putin is just like Bush against the Kyoto Protocol... and when they discussed the issues with global warming he presented his view on things. I admit it sounds like a joke, but it's true. I found the quote at Reuters or Newsweek, I can't remember... he was also quoted in the major Swedish newspapers when they covered that meeting. _________________ Old school forever! |

Drought anyone..?
Here in Oz we're having our worst drought in recorded history - it's been 6 years straight near me! We're all on water restrictions, the farmers are all going broke and it never rains anymore!!! _________________

Thanks for bringing a little 'balance' into the thread, Andrew! Just what I was saying on page 1, y'see. It's all very well it being cold right now but in the long term it's really not a good thing that it was so warm here in northern Europe (OK, I don't know about the rest of northern Europe, but certainly in the British Isles) until very late in October. At current rates of temperature increases, London (and most of the Netherlands, East Anglia, southern England... dammit, anywhere under 6 metres above sea level) will be underwater by the end of this century. And Putin's only bothered about his grain!
