[05 NOV 2006] - Jamiroquai in 'Operacion Triunfo'
I've just read that Jamiroquai & Nelly Furtado will perform tonight in Operacion Triunfo, the same program as 'Star academy' in France, presenting some 'new stuff'  . I wonder if that's the kind of program where a good band should show their talent, but I understand that they have to promote their new album..
Anybody noticed it? Maybe someone posted it in other topic.. |

that tv program is crap (just like all going on tv)
it's surely will be another playback of the music and maybe jay singing...

hahahah i couldn't be more agreed with you in that one Iñaki!
i remember the times of OT with David Bisbal... everybody loved it! and i remember i was all the time like :S @#~@#€~¬@¬@# hahahah
and yeh, i also think it will be a playback!
too bad for Jamiroquai! |

Just got a sms from peggy - she has no internet at the place she is at the moment. She is saying that the show has just started - it's on tele 5.
Can anyone record this one?

Just got another message from peggy...lol
They are performing "Cosmic Girl" and Jay's hair is short! ... not sure HOW short, though.
Hope we will see a recording of this one.

she just described it: shorter than usual, put back with gel. Maybe he had his hair as at the last performance we saw...
there also was a little interview part in which he was telling that the brit press is bad, she mentioned.
who else has seen it?

I've seen it.
Yes, they have played cosmic girl and NOT runaway. Like CosmicMouse deducted, he had his hair as at the last performance we saw, last night in UK tv. He weared the same clothes than in Star academy, in France. Jay seemed a bit suffocated and his voice wasn't as sweet as usual. Maybe he was a bit unhealthy, who knows. In the performance, as in France, I think that Jay was singing live but over a previous record of the song. People semed to like the performance.
There was also a really really brief interview. He recommended to the guys to work hard and take care about press. 'Spanish press is better, but brit press is bad, very very bad. I hate them' he said laughing, or something like this. At last they presented their greatest hits 'after 20 milion sales and 14 years'. 'No, more: 15 years', corrected Jay. |

..what I don't get: why are they performing "Cosmic Girl" when they actually should promote the new tracks?  ... hm, okay, maybe to remind the people on older tracks that can also be found on the Greatest Hits...
