British singer JAY KAY's adopts an arrogant persona, because he secretly suffers stagefright when he's promoting his music. The JAMIROQUAI frontman has no problem performing but he hates having to promote his music in the press, and confesses he's often unable to perform 'on demand' at photo shoots. He says, "Don't get me wrong, I still love music. It's all the c**p that goes with it that I don't particularly like. "Television shows make me nervous. Interviews make me nervous. Photo-shoots make me nervous. You know, I'm smiling and I'm thinking I really want to look good in this picture, but I don't feel good. I can't help it. I wear my heart on my sleeve. "I'm not a shiny American like Beyonce - 'Ohhh', big smiles, everything's great."

nice to know I'm not the only oe feeling unconfortable shooting pic ( even if he has to shoot much more pics than me  ).
so he's saying all over ithat he's full of this business...just want make music and nothing else.

Poor Jay - its inevitable that he'd get nervous - at least you can't see it in his performances or photos - what a trooper!!!!!

Jay, you should use the same strategy of "Gorillaz"...let a cartoon take the place of you... 
anyway, he loves music and he doesn't matter of all around it...on my opinion,that's a true star!!!
