Jay promoting himself in Spain
I just wanted to share this, because I thought it was hilarious! I don't understand the language, and did the translation and it's choppy (maybe one of the Spanish speaking Jamirotalkers can work it out better), but the pictures are what make me laugh LOL

Jamiroquai does of "announce man" to promote himself

MADRID- Jamiroquai releases today 'High Times: Singles 1992-2006', album that gathers all their hits, together with two unreleased songs: 'Runaway', first single, and 'Radio'.

Jay Kay's group has sold more than 20 million discs in the world, and they remained for 232 weeks in the list of albums, and for 159 in the list of 'singles' in United Kingdom. Also, they have defended their music live for more than five million people in 38 countries.

Nevertheless, considerating how things are within the discographic industry, none of these hits is a guarantee for success. Aware of that, he has not doubted in lying down to the street to promote himself. And hes has done it from lowest step in the strategy of marketing: converting himself in a "announce man" on the streets of Barcelona.

Just like that, with sunglasses and a poster of his album, Jay Kay went to the street, surprising his fans in the Condal city.

Two unreleased songs
The new album contains 16 great hits of Jamiroquai, and two unreleased subjects. The first one to be listened was 'Runaway', a faithful tune in the style of the band, with a contagious bassline and strings that evoke disco music.

This is the style that the english band has been doing since 1993, when the song "Too young to die" reached the top of the charts.

Then the political awareness came, with songs like 'Emergency On Planet Earth', hits like 'Cosmic Girl' and ' Virtual Insanity', and approaches to disco music in 'Little L', 'Canned Heat' and 'Love Foolosophy', not forgetting the powerful 'Deeper Underground'.

All these songs are brought up in 'High Times. Singles 1992-2006'.
