Favorite track from Jamiroquai's Late Night Tales disc?
I just picked this disc up in anticipation of HT 1992-2006 US release, and I am really seeing a great deal of influence from these artists.

What is your singe favorite track from this compilation?

so far this is my favorite (disco feel but very Earth, Wind and Fire like)

Leon Ware - What's Your Name

yeah music of the earth by patrice rushen is amazing

i really love

dexter wansels tunes on that sampler and jays comment to that song "since i was 16 years old. I used to smoke on this"
or california dreaming by jose feliciano
that cover is great i remembers me on mexican drug dealers (i donno why) but when its cold outside and i wish it is summer i listen to it
or girl i think the world about you by commodores - a beautiful tune made for sunny summerdays and its like jay said "oure bass-driven funk"

i can say to every song my comment but its a bit like jays comments^^

so all the people who havnt got that cd or vinyl
BUY IT!!!!!!!! (ill ignore people that ask me for upload it)

great question!
Pretty Baby - this track is just classic. the attitude and music and message within - i dig it the most.

What's Your Name is after that one. Those lyrics are what I love, "What's your name - does it really matter?"

Well... is VERY hard to decide.

This is a very unique album that's amongst the best I have. It opened me the door the the REAL music that now I love and try to find every time I go to old record stores.

But if I had to choose one...

Dexter Wansel 'Life On Mars' with Leon Ware 'What's Your Name?' right next to it.

GREAT ALBUM. In fact, Im gonna listen to it right now Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

D!

I'm surpised that nobody mentioned "Once You Get Started"

My vote goes to the funky grooves of Rufus and the amazing voice of Chaka Khan clapping

I also love The Commodores sweet soul and Ramsey Lewis jazz. California Dreaming is amazing too.
