Not only that the Order of the Phoenix is going to be released as film soon, the 7th Harry Potter seems to be released soon aswell because you already can preorder it on amazon.

unfortunately it doesn't. amazon's pre-order service isn't the smartest and you can pre-order stuff MONTH before it is released. it only means that amazon is going to get your money for sure.

rumors say that the 7th book is going to be released on July 7th, 2007 (7.7.7) as seven is supposed to be a magic number...

Never thought I'd find myself entering a discussion about H**ry P***er... samiam, I think your choice of the word 'franchise' describes it perfectly, quite frankly.

But...

In fairness to Amazon, you WILL get the book when it's released. That just won't be for a while. I very much doubt Rowling's publishers (I've forgotten momentarily who she's with) are going to pull the plug on it! Besides, Amazon don't take money out of your account until they've dispatched your order...

you're right sam, i didn't mean to say that amazon takes your money without delivering the goodies! Wink and yes, you get it for sure.

Bloomsbury, that's right yeah. Don't know much she gets in royalties, but it's too much!
