Incognito @ Jazz Café, London - January 21st-26th 2007
Hey!
Here is a message from Bluey, dated 09/01/2007 :

Namaste one and all,
News for those of you who are geographically situated to be able to attend our London dates at the Jazz Café (21 to 26 of Jan).
For these upcoming series of shows will a presenting the band in a new form.
We will be playing new arrangements with a smaller band featuring our special guest UK flute virtuoso Gareth Lockrane.
This will be a set uniquely put together for these Jazz Café shows.
Over the 6 nights we are looking forward to presenting you songs and instrumentals that we have either not played for several years or in some cases never played live.
This will be the first time that we have performed without a horn section since the early 90’s when we did an unplugged show in Zurich.
For those who are attending an Incognito gig for the first time, don’t you worry ‘bout a thing, we will be still playing the some of classics though they will have a new twist.
I hope that those of you who have seen us many times before will appreciate this new adventure.
I am looking forward to seeing you in the intimate setting of the Jazz café, and if you make it, come and say hello.
The band will be:
Joy Rose - Vocals
Imaani – Vocals
Tony Momrelle - Vocals
Richard Bailey - Drums & Percussion
Francis Hylton - Bass
Tony Remy - Acoustic and electric Guitars and Vocoder
Matt Cooper - Keyboards & Grand Piano
Gareth Lockrane - Flute
And me Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick - Guitar, percussion & Vocals
Peace

Is anyone planning to be there? I have tickets for Tuesday 23rd and, after reading this message, I'm really looking forward to seeing what Bluey has in store.
I'll provide you all with a full review (including photos) upon my return.
