Wow... Never heard/seen this kind of item before... Great find... Are you sure it's an official release, because the catalogue number is the same as the 12" promo of "Dyanamite" with Oliver Lang & Fanatix remixes... JAM03... Strange... _________________ Max. |

It's a bootleg alright. No doubt about it.
The "Japanese version" I was talking about is not on Yahoo anymore. I don't know if it sold or if it will be relisted. I haven't been able to find any additional information on this one, so I still don't know if it was a case of typo/misinformation/error in translation or an actual release. The only version I can find, available to buy, is the UK 7" with Love Foolosophy on the B-side.
The reason I thought the A-side was recorded live in Japan is simly because I first saw the mysterious Japanese release. I just assumed it was recorded there as well.
As the "Japanese release" may not exist and just is a case of misinformation of some sort it makes much more sense that We Getting Down is from Paradiso. _________________ Old school forever! |

The release that Janluka and I have, they're both the Japanese release of the bootleg that you're talking about.
They got on one side the Love Foolosophy (Radio/Live Lounge Mix) as stated in the printing, and the We' getting Down (Weldon Irvine Cover Version) as stated in the printing too. _________________

I understand Tiago. I knew there was a Japanese release because you had one. I did however think Janluka had the UK release.
But... I also thought there was a different Japanese release than the one you have. Because I saw an auction at the Japanese Yahoo auctions site where the description said a song by A Tribe Called Quest was on the B-side. I'm almost certain that this is wrong and just a case of misinformation or odd translation. A Tribe Calle Quest was mentioned in the auction though, perhaps Google Translation just messed it up and led me to believe it was the B-side.
I will keep looking. If I find evidence that there indeed is an alternative Japanese release with a B-side by A Tribe Called Quest I will present it here. _________________ Old school forever! |
