Does anyone on this forum have the compatible phone to download the audio or video of the gig?
The reason im bringing this up is because i think it will be difficult to share as Sony are renown for making the files awkward and may only work if you own the correct type of phone - i.e the walkman one!
I have had experience with there mp3 players - Attrak files
although if someone does get the file i could convert it on sonicstage.
i do have hope though that are boffins on here can extract whats needed and convert it into a watchable/listenable format. _________________

Since a month, didnt I tell you? I thought it would be great as a temporary replacement for my mp3 player...boy was I wrong. The hiss is terrible! And clicks and pops in between tracks, music gets distorted at low volumes and at beginning and end of tracks, and it mixes up ID3 tags and playlists. Its really a half-baked product. Unbelievable that SE can get away with it...if you look for other people on the internet that have these problems, you'll find plenty. What you will also find is a reaction from SE on the problems, and claiming that they wont be fixing these, eventhough its clearly only a software problems. Tssk, the arrogance! _________________ The name's Rob, just Rob |

Who says that? Btw, I thought I'd read somewhere that there will be a video for download (meaning, at the internets for everyone). Video resolution and playback for some SE mobiles is quite crappy, I can't imagine they'd only make it available for that platform... anyway, we'll see. _________________ The name's Rob, just Rob |

I've got one of these too... the w810i
The hiss is a bit shit I reckon, but I only get it when I use the speaker on the phone and not with the headphones, so I can live with it...
My concern with this gig on the phone is if they stream it, rather than make it available as a file to download.
I have no idea how to save streamed stuff on my phone, and no doubt the video quality will be rubbish in order to cut down the bandwith as well(SE video is only 176x144 pixels anyway).
Hopefully it'll be on TV somewhere - if it's a record breaking thing, I'm sure people will want to see it just for that fact anyway. _________________
