Hi everyone,
To make a long story short; I got a place at a cool company located in the center of Berlin, which I am very happy about!
|
congrats man, maybe we should organize a little (Dutch) get together before then - some sort of Dutch jamily meet-up.
Is any of the other Dutchies up for that? |

Thanks for all the replies guys!
mr.az » I know about the Trabants...I believe you can rent one of them or get a city tour in one of them. I'd rather explore the city by myself though!

lol! Who knows, stranger things have happened!
FunkyDonkey » Thanks for the replies! I forgot to mention in my post that I have been in Berlin in 2004 for a few days, and absolutely loved it.
I also know the movie (Good Bye Lenin!), which I really liked
Maxus » Why are you so negative? Perhaps you have seen a lot of the former Eastern part of Berlin, with it's depressing Sovjet-building style. In my memory, Berlin is not grey at all, especially Berlin Mitte, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Neukölln, a.o. Berlin is a HUGE city with 3,4 million people. There is something for everyone, and even more if you are open minded.
The places you described are the most well known touristic places in Berlin. I saw most of them when I was there in 2004, but this time I want to see the non-tourist things.
I indeed hope not to have to use the s-bahn at midnight, at least not when I'm alone! lol

Thanks! A Dutch meet up would be great, although people from other countries would also be welcome! Or like Sandriche suggested...you could come to Berlin _________________ The name's Rob, just Rob |

Well maybe I will but your town is a lot closer until may so I'll opt for that first.
I had the idea of getting the Dutch jamirotalkers together somewhere in Holland but off course everyone is invited if a meetup will happen. |
