Roy Ayers
Anna and I went to see Roy Ayers last night, free in the park as part of the Festival of Geneva, and he and the rest of his band were simply amazing!!!!!!!!! I did a *very* low quality recording of Don't Stop The Feeling using the voice recorder on my phone, which I've put on Rapidshare. Just remember I was standing between Anna and a great American guy we met there called Dennis, who were both very excited

Before them was a local outfit called PPA Plus who played an incredible soul/funk set, including what was probably the best cover of Superstition that I've ever heard!
It was such a good end to my Jamiro-month _________________

I really dig Roy Ayers. He's one of the musicians my dad passed down to me.
Happy you all got to see him live and looking forward to downloading the video! |

You're welcome Lee
It was a festival gig for the Swiss National Day (today). Geneva is good for stuff like that. Would love to see Jamiroquai come here but Geneva is too small for ticket sales. Though Jay did drive through Geneva last year on his way back from Italy and performed a private gig just down the road. Needless to say, I wasn't invited... _________________ Jamiroquai - it's stitched into the clothes that I wear... |

You surely enjoyed ! Lucky one
I checked his official site, and like I was guessing; he made a few dates in Europe; Paris included (on the 23rd of march), and like always, I know it after .
(I am "show-cursed", I always have troubles when there is concerts of artists I like) _________________ Smile ~ |
