my corny online name,'Steffenfunk',just stems from the fact that my names Steve & i like all things funky...but it sounds kinda boring to call meself 'Stevenfunk'...hence,i made it sound more like half a German rock group(?),and..well...u can work out the rest!

Oki my original nick was Dejanira, which was Hercules first wife in the mitologic greek history...I always loved her caracther and as she faint to Nesso's trick for the love of Hercules I also faint in a trick that didn't make me lost my life like her but made me lost my love  ...so I feelt there was a big connection...but Dejanira is too long and formal and I wanted to make it an easy nick so Deja!
at the beguinning of my internet life /chat life I used to use my real name that here is absolutly weird ( Verena is german) but than ppl kept on asking me my name and noone belived it was that!
about Dejanira...once a guy asked me if I was brasilian 'cause it sound soo exotic 
I feel a bit sad is not related to any Jamiro's stuff

 ok I'm not sure how I missed this thread so long ago.. but anyways....
JGRIZZ = John Grizzly = John Piscopo (real name) Italian.
but John Grizzly is one of the first songs I wrote and recorded,
and also I USED to have sideburns and really long hair, to which the song is about how when you are young and are rebelling as a teenager...and how people are so lame and give you shit for having long hair or punk rock hair or whatever....they think that because you are young they can talk to you that way and disrespect you.
you can listen to it on my my space....the song was also very Sublime/reggae inpiried.
